One of my favorite dessert spots for years now. The original is still the best. Never had a bad slice of pie, and service is only slow when the line is out the door.

I have been going to Louisville for decades and just discovered the Pie Kitchen. The ice cream is great and really tastes homemade. We had the cherry, chess and butterscotch cream pies, all of which were excellent. Our advice: Darn the calories full cream ahead!

We come here every year when we come to Louisville! It's a must for dessert! Sooo good! Dutch apple pie with Carmel and cinnamon ice cream! It's to die for!

We had the upside down cupcakes, which were smothered in icing. They are wonderful. Also got a couple to go!

I've been to a couple of the HP&I but the one on Bardstown was hands down the best. They are a great number of selections and they didn't look like they had been sitting there all day. Restaurant was clean as well!

I like many things at Homemade, but a recent experience at the one on Frankfort Avenue made me start thinking, I'm not impressed with their ice cream, and usually order cake or pie. I love their caramel apple pie (and I don't really like apple pie). The Frankfort Ave. location served me a piece of Italian cream cake that was... More

I'm new to Louisville and stopped by the pie kitchen in springhurst today for Father's Day. I was more than impressed with the whole operation. The Dutch apple with Caramel was some of the best pie I have ever had. Warmed up with vanilla ice cream as recommended was definetaly worth every penny. I also had my two kids in... More

Oh wow! I walked into heaven! :). Amazing cakes, pies, and ice cream. You could tell it was homemade. The flavors I tried were rich in flavor. The strawberry flavor was one of the best strawberry ice Creams I have ever had. Come prepared to have to make difficult decisions because everything looks and tastes great!

Walking in reminds me of visiting Nana's house. The smells of cakes and pies takes me back to a happy place...and this place didn't disappoint. The icecreams, cakes, pues, cookies...all of it is delicious!
