Fans of horseracing will love seeing the pictures of winning thoroughbreds and their owners that line the walls of this quaint little place. The food is always extraordinary. Be sure to have reservations.

Always a great meal. It is crowded and loud but that maintains the New York City atmosphere. Would and will go back.

An air of a speakeasy....just absolutely charming...two rooms ..bar area much noisier..Food excellent ....each one of us was more than happy with our entrees and we started with shrimp and grits....a bit pricey ...with a drink between $45 and $60 per....

I was in Louisville for a 2 day Bourbon Seminar for work. Reservations were for 27 and they were very accommodating. This is a very small steak house. The food was amazing and the service was perfect. I ordered a filet and it was like butter!!! Never ate anything like that. Perfect evening.

Jack Fry's is one of Louisville's best restaurants. The food is beautifully prepared and delicious; the service attentive yet unobtrusive. If you have drinks and an entree, expect to spend about $40-60 per person. This is our special occasion place, but it sure would be nice to be considered a regular here.

Had lunch with my husband , has a nice history there with old photos. Modern food in an old, supper club kind of atmosphere.

I absolutely love having a late lunch at Jack Fry's. Several reasons - quieter, I am really hungry, and I like to linger. The service and staff are very good. I generally start with a glass of wine and the wine list is very doable. Next half a Bibb Salad, or depending on soup of the day and some days... More

Everything has always been great! Worth spending a little more on special occasions. Now go ahead and splurge a little on loved ones or close friends.

Visited this restaurant for the first time. One of my co-workers was retiring and chose to have the retirement dinner at Jack Fry's. There were 15 people attending and they handled the crowd very well. The food was excellent. I had lamb chops. The restaurant is pretty small, but it has a very nice atmosphere with live music. Will definitely... More
