Ate here twice while visiting Louisville. A great find. The steak frites was delicious. Gracious owner and staff. Charming, very French decor.

Went the night before the Kentucky Oaks when the town starts to get crowded. We thought maybe we'd have to wait a long time or would be rushed out, but that wasn't the case at all. Our meal was delicious (try the mushroom appetizer!) and the waiter was so sweet and attentive. If I'm ever back in town, I will... More

We love France but our love's not blind. One bad meal and we'd be gone. But not here. Brasserie Provence is the real deal. The owner is from Cannes and the food is from heaven. We had the steak frittes -- an ordinary meal which is always a good test --- and felt like we were in a cafe in... More

Stayed right next door to Provence and decided to try it...it was a great decision. The pork chop was the best in a long time. Great French wine selection also. For something different, give it a try.

I ate at this restaurant for the second time last week. The first time was about a year and a half ago. My experiences on both occasions were remarkably similar. The food is really good and the chef/owner is warm and sincere and genuinely interested in making the dining experience enjoyable. The charcuterie plate has an ample assortment of meats,... More

This well run French restaurant is large enough for big groups, has ample parking, a very nice wine list, and is not too far downtown for country a gentlemen like myself. It get 4 stars in Moe's Dining Guide.

Brasserie Provence is always a classy treat, but a favorite occasion is the frequent (usually monthly) Wine Dinners which feature a selected region of wines paired with a matched multi-course dinner. There is a fixed menu that is always exciting & different from the regular menu. These dinners are usually found in advance on the website & just be reserved... More
