Gonzaga has very good sushi and probably the best price around. The Golden Island and Dorsey lane roll are my favorites. Service can get sporadic when busy but all the servers help each other out which helps. For the non sushi fans they have several other Asian dishes that are very delicious. The General Tso’s chicken may be the best I have had in Louisville.

We ordered General's Chicken and the Steak Fried Rice along with a Crab rangoon appetizer. The food was good and the server did a good job as well. I think their prices are better than some of the other restaurants in the area We will return.

Ginza is our favorite Asian restaurant in Louisville. Establishment is tastefully decorated and all of the dishes that we have tried were excellent. Most recently, I had the shrimp in lobster sauce and my wife had the General Tso chicken. Very generous portions and delicious.

Went here for business dinner. At first look outside I was like “ehhh” but then went inside and was seated right away. Waitress was very nice and assisted with menu. Ordered a few drinks, apps, and sushi. The drinks.... they are 2 in 1 -meaning definitely freely poured and STRONG-, the dumplings were really good, and the sushi was HUGE tasteful fresh rolls. Definitely a place to return to when craving sushi in Louisville. Price was very fair for the drinks and food.

We were traveling and just visiting Louisville. We looked up places with sushi and this one looked good. Not disappointed at all. One of us had sushi that was very good and the others opted for other items on the menu. Large portions and delish food. We were very happy with the food and service.

They forgot the fried rice and I had to go back up and get it. My food was cold by the time I got back home to it. Please listen to your customers order and prevent this from happening again. I wasted gas for this and they did nothing extra ti make up for it. Only gave me the fried rice. Not cool!!! When you make a mistake and cause a customer issue you need to go extra and make up for it. They failed to do that as well

My wife and I are constantly looking for a replacement of our favorite now closed Chinese Restaurant. Last night we found it. Although the menu was heavy with sushi and Thai there was a selection of "traditional Chinese" foods. We ordered the Chicken fried rice and Sesame Chicken. Came with Soup and salad at a surprisingly reasonable price. Both dishes were outstanding and plentiful. The sauce for the Sesame Chicken was OUTSTANDING!

My first time at Ginza was for lunch on a Tuesday with half Price Sushi. They have a great selection of specialty rolls as well as lots of traditional ones. They are made right in front of you fresh. It feels like a high priced Asian at small restaurant prices. They also offer selections of Chinese, Thai and Curry dishes. You might want to go early or late as they get quite crowded. A new favorite for me.

There are many choices to be made here between sushi, Japanese entrees andThai.
We enjoyed the house salad with ginger dressing and hot and sour soup.
We tried some mixed tempura and 3 different maki rolls- all delicious and large.
No draft beer but a selection of Japanese beer.

Customer service was outstanding, food presentation was amazing. Everything was fresh and cooked to order. We had the egg rolls, and hibachi steak, shrimp and chicken. The steak was cooked perfectly. The salad with the fresh ginger was very crisp and extremely good. Will definitely be going back.

I like the fact that I can order a variety of non sushi dishes for children or for people who simply do not care for sushi. They have chinese options , a few thai ones (like pad thai).
For sushi, the list of rolls isn't 5 pages, but that is a good thing to me. They have simple rolls (like 3 for < 11$) which were good and not with 2" of rice. The list of more elaborate rolls seemed decent (meaning, some options) without going overboard (huge rolls too big to fit in the mouth and with too many flavors). Also, the rolls didn't fall apart when grabing with chopstick and dipping in the soy. They were tight (incl the Naruto one whcih is wrapped in cucumber).
The restaurant itself is pleasant inside. It seems to have been renovated, the bar looks great with the TV, bottles, lights and stone wall. They have 3 private rooms.
The restrooms looked clean and also nicely decorated ( a duck and her 2 babies for the faucet ;-) )
Our only complaint was service. The younger lady was playing games on her ipad at the bar so we kept having to wave at the lady who took our order to get green tea refills. But overall, they had been very pleasant when taking our order, bringing our food, the green tea ice cream for our children,...
We will defintely go back as we were happy with the food (good rolls, not stuffed with rice at a competitive price), pleasant room and staff, unlike other places where one or more of these criteria fell short.

Stumbled into this place one night this past September while in from out of town and not knowing anything about it. It was fantastic. I'm not a big sushi eater but my wife helped me choose some things I would like and man was it delicious. Pretty extensive menu so you won't have a problem finding something you like. The restaurant was relaxing and the server was very attentive. Prices were reasonable. We left stuffed and happy. 2 thumbs up from us.

We stopped by the other night for dinner with the family and everything was amazing we go all the time and it’s always great the sushi is very fresh and when you order your food everything comes out exactly how you order it we will defiantly be back

Recently was made aware of Ginza's. Fantastic sushi. Great Lunch deals. The Pad Thai is incredible. Beautiful décor inside. Really deceiving from the outside. Staff always very pleasant.

We ate here on Christmas Day. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars, was the long wait. The food was delicious. The dining room has some separate rooms the hold 5-7 customers which would be really cool. Food was perfectly season. I'm vegan and there were many choices.
