We just happened to walk by this place and decided to try it. First of all, parking can be a challenge. You will have to find a place on the main street or another street nearby. We arrive around 1:30 PM and were seated immediately. Our waitress Jessica, was very busy but took our drink order right away. I think... More

Whenever we go back to The Ville, we stop at Cumberland Brews for the jerk wings. We were disapointed by this visit. I ordered two beer flights and our waitress couldn't tell us which beers were which. The service she provided was poor. The wings were smaller and the sauce wasn't as good as our last visit.

This is the kind of Brew pub I love - very small batches that the brewer would have to truly work hard and often to make. The iPa was good, the wit was good - I can vouch for those two minimum. The food was great - we had a burger, fish sandwich, and chicken jerk sandwich, they were all... More

This establishment is a great place to experience an understanding about what the Bardstown Road area is all about. There is always a good selection of freshly brewed beers to meet everyone's taste in beer and good food to satisfy your appetite. Although this place can get pretty crowded quickly there are several seating options (outside, in the bar area,... More

We tried the bourbon beer (great), the Nitro Porter, and the IPA. All were good, but the bourbon beer is recommended if you are from out of town (like we were) and haven't had this before. Fried green tomato tacos are another unusual item that tasted great.

While searching for a place to grab a quick meal we happened upon Cumberland Brews a small bustling pub on Bardstown road in Louisville. We ordered a chile and the special of the day steak and French fries and a beer. The beer, chile and fries were good but the steak was pretty close to impossible to cut. ..Really really... More

After my 2nd visit, I felt the need to post a good score for this establishment. There's a lot of good beer finally being brewed by locals in KY. Not only does this place produce good beer, but also sells it at a price that will make you come back again and again. I went out of my way to... More

Very good brews but regardless of how many I have I always get a headache the next day. The mead is a must try if they have some on tap! The food is great and large portions for the most part and the quesadilla of the day is always a win if you don't know what to get. They fill... More

I have been here with freinds and solo at Cumberland brews more than once. They have a good small selection of food including wings, burgers, chili, and a good small selection of beer.
