This place came recommended. It was a family trip after Downs. Shoes were sticking to the floor, not sure when it was mopped last. Non of my family members finished the main dish. I would say this was the worst Mexican food I've had. Was expecting fajitas to be served on a skillet and hot. Was glad to learn they... More

I work nearby and have been frequenting this restaurant for 10 years. It has always been amazing. I have seen the same staff for most of those years. The place is always busy and the food is always tasty. They don't change the décor a lot and the paper strand decorations tend to get dusty, but most everything else is... More

I liked the atmosphere at Santa Fe Grill much better than those chain Mexican restaurants. Fast friendly service. Food was good. Yes, chips were from a bag but the 2 salsas, 1 red and 1 green, made up for it. Appeared to do a lot of carry out business.

We went here on Trip Advisor review, small place in town. Staff was friendly enough. Nice size menu selections. Food we had was pretty average. Our guacamole was not very fresh, looked it was made in the morning for our 6pm dinner, taste was just ok. The chips and salsa that were served was best of our meal. They did... More

shop could be a little updated, but food is excellent. prices are low. if they updated the shop, they would have to charge moor. so stay the same way, and keep cooking good food.

Was introduced to this restaurant by friends and have visited several times since. The inside is small but friendly and the service is great. The tacos are delicious and I'm a huge fan of the chorizo! This is a great place to have a filling meal for less than five dollars. Keep an eye out; you don't want to miss... More

This little gem is hidden on 3rd street across from UofL's baseball stadium. Walking inside is like walking into another country. The sights, smells, and sounds all communicate "this isn't Kentucky anymore." The menu is delicious, generous, and inexpensive from top to bottom. Our favorite is probably the barbacoa burrito served Mexican style. We always get one of the 1/2... More

Found this place mentioned in a different Tripadvisor review so decided to give it a shot. SO HAPPY we did! Delicious, authentic Mexican food! We tried the soft corn tacos with barbacoa beef, chicken and steak...at $1.90/taco. Wow. Similar to ones we've had at Taco Luchador and Wild Ritas for twice the price. It was fairly empty so we had... More

Very authentic and delicious place. Tacos are good, as are the chips and salsa. All around great and cheap Mexican food.
