Excellent atmosphere and food. Highly recommend the Limoncello martini as a cocktail. My server was a gem and able to get me a smaller portion of the delicious ravioli so I would have room for the unbelievable Veal Saltimbocca. Cheesecake was divine and he even...gifted me with a couple of cannoli. I was solo and enjoying the people watching. There were probably 6 different servers that checked up on me or came by to talk. What a wonderful place!More

The best dinner dining experience we have all had in a very long time! 5 Star service and food. Every single person who worked there that we came in contact with was exceptionally professional and welcoming. The restaurant was elegant, warm and inviting. Vincenzo came...over and checked on our table twice, made the 4 of us feel so welcome, and happy to have us there. The food was done to perfection!!! and top notch service. If you’re looking for a nice, tasty evening out, Vincenzo’s is a must.More

My friend and I went for dinner and were not disappointed. The atmosphere and service are outstanding. Our server, Casey was one of the best servers I've ever experienced. They prepare your food right there at your table and it is served piping hot. I...had the petit filet and it just melted in my mouth. The chef came to our table and inquired about our meals; he was genuinely interested to make sure we were enjoying everything. Mr. Vincenzo himself visited our table and was an absolute joy. He laughed and joked with us and provided us with free dessert. My friend had the white chocolate mousse and I had the tiramisu. I was so happy to see the restaurant busy during these uncertain times. I can't wait to return.More

My husband and I had received a generous gift certificate to this restaurant and took my mom to dinner there. They have obviously put a lot of effort into making their outdoor dining elegant. Despite the chilly temperature, we were comfortable thanks to heaters. We...enjoyed our appetizers, main dishes and desserts. Service was friendly and efficient. Our bill was an impressive $342 before tip, but we did all have three courses and a glass of wine. Sometimes in life you have to splurge a little and fine dining is one of those times.More

While traveling back home to St. Louis from Asheville NC we stopped in downtown Louisville, and in a great bit of serendipity chose to have dinner at Vincenzo’s, an Italian restaurant convenient to our hotel. As we soon found out, the long-time proprietor, Vincenzo is...a “Gabriele”, and any St. Louisan who loves good dining recognizes the Gabriele’s as a family of great restauranteurs. I’m ashamed to say I didn’t know about this restaurant before my arrival, but turns out Agostino—the former proprietor of the popular “Agostino’s Little Place” in suburban St. Louis—-is Vincenzo’s brother and is artfully running the kitchen, while Vincenzo is the gracious front-of-house host, in much the same manner their nephews, Carmelo and Frank Gabriele back in STL run the acclaimed “Il Bel Lago”, “Giovanni’s Little Kitchen” and previously “Giovanni’s” on The Hill in St. Louis, MO. We had a wonderful meal, with politely accommodating service and great presentation (kudos to Steven and Tyler). We concluded our meal in true Italian form, with a delicious Limoncello. Anytime we’re in downtown Louisville KY this will be a mandatory stop!More

We dined here based on a recommendation. It was okay, but it was not worth what we paid. The environment was very nice and held promise, but the food was mediocre, the service was depressing, and we left disappointed. We would not go back -...ever. BEWARE: They charge $18 to “split” an entree. Pretty miserable considering we had drinks, two appetizers, entree and dessert; AND they added an automatic a 20% gratuity for a party of two as a “convenience”! Pathetic.More

There are so many things that make this restaurant a fantastic and special dining experience. First, the service, which started when I called to say we were running late as we had been planning to walk from our hotel but we were now waiting out...a downpour. Kevin, the maitre'd, answered the call and hearing about our predicament came and collected us - wow, that was over and above! The amazing service just continued from there as we were looked after in the truest sense of the word by Casey, assisted by Tyler. They did a great job plating the food at the side of the table - something that is a little unusual but adds a lot to the experience and shows the pride all the servers have for the food they serve. And the food is great! I had the baked artichokes with crab and scallops, followed by the Vitello saltimbocca and my husband had the beef and veal crepe followed by shrimp spaghetti, which was the biggest serving we had ever seen. We were given a delicious complimentary dessert of Reeses peanut butter cup cheesecake accompanied by blackberry mousse served in little dark chocolate shells. Jake the chef came to talk to us as our dessert was served and explained he had decided to make the mousse after collecting fresh blackberries that morning from a friends farm. It was all utterly delicious. Special mention also for their cocktails - definitely recommend you try at least one! Because of Covid the restaurant was almost empty apart from a few other couples but they still managed to create a lovely ambience and the decor is gorgeous. The attention they gave to us made us feel like we were in private dining and they are all rightly very proud of their restaurant. If you are in Louisville, push the boat out and visit this little gem, well worth it!More
