Visited Eddie Merlot's for the first time with 3 others on a business trip. We were ready for a higher end steak meal and this served us well. I ordered the fillet cooked medium rare and it came out perfect. Red in the middle, outside charred nicely. One person in the group had the "trio of medallions". It looked great... More

Excellent atmosphere. Darrin was our server- very knowledgeable and the perfect server. Jorge was his assistant and he was personable and extremely polite and friendly. And the food! Such a wonderful meal! We had the filets and the Parmesan truffle fries and asparagus. The portions were huge and perfectly prepared. Our drinks were also perfect. Excellent experience. Will definitely visit... More

This is a good restaurant for fine dining. The dining room is elegant, open, and attractive. There is a pleasant buzz in the dining area, but you are still able to easily carry on table conversations. Service is excellent. On a recent visit our waitress was pleasant, knowledgeable, and gave good suggestions without being pushy about anything. Several other servers... More

Prompt service, great atmosphere, super steaks, and sides, beverage menu complete. What more could one ask after a hard day.

Oh my, the food was so great. Had shrimp appetizers. They were huuge. My entree was filet medallions with three different sauces. I could not decide which was best. At the leftovers for breakfast.

Stopped in to catch the NBA finals after seeing the bar area from the street. Sunday features 1/2 off wine bottles that are offered by the glass. Ordered a bone in fillet that was out of this world! Asked for fresh garlic when I ordered dinner, our waitress returned just before the steaks were presented and said that Chef wondered... More

It was close to our hotel, the Seelbach Hilton (separate review) so we went there. The snails were the only acceptable item. The sea bass was an overcooked piece of fish with some pink coloring, the steak was so so, Stroganoff tasted like week old leftovers. We are talking about entrees that run in the $40+ range. And everything else... More

Had a great steak---- truly prime---tasty and tender--- greatest I have had in along time. Also a baked potato that was cooked just right and tasty and loaded with all the toppings... Truly worth it, added a jumbo shrimp to my meal and it was grilled perfectly. The dinner paired with a nice glass of Malbec were truly worth it

I love this restaurant, I really do and for that reason it gets 3 stars and I will return. Food has always been perfection, until my visit last night. I ordered oysters (2 on the half shell and 2 Rockefeller) - yes I know it's June and is getting late for Oysters but usually if the oysters aren't up to... More

Recently during my stay in Louisville, Kentucky, I visited this bar twice and both times had a wonderful experience. Natalie gave great lessons on the finer points of Bourbon as well as hiking trips even though I was 'not from around there.' The bar is well kept and elegant. A great place to go late night downtown. Wish we had... More
