My wife and I had tickets to the Louisville Orchestra, so we decided to eat dinner before the performance. Going to Walker’s Exchange was a big mistake. Although their online menu has entrees like salmon and ribeye steak, in reality they switched menus with a...lunch place. All we could get was an overpriced burger and fries. Our server said they were short staffed, so the menu changed. We tried to get a table in Swizzle, the top restaurant in the Galt House, but it was impossible since we didn’t have reservations; we had unnecessary reservations at Walker’s Exchange as there were only eight people in the whole restaurant and I understand why. This was a bait and switch; we will never go back. Lesson learned.More

Thank you for your visit. Please see below the most up-to-date menu from our website. https://walkerslouisville.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Walkers-Dinner-August18901112953.pdf There was also certainly more available than a reasonably priced specialty burger. On this very uncommon occasion slight modifications might have taken place for a variety of reasons. While...More

We went to Walkers Exchange for breakfast. They are currently only serving a buffet style breakfast which was very standard with average food. For the quality of food, it was extremely overpriced. We were sadly disappointed. I’m hopeful that their lunch & dinner are a...better experience.More

Thank you for visiting and for your feedback. We will share the comments with our team. In addition to the buffet there also a small a la carte menu offered. We believe that the price point of both the buffet and the a la carte...More

Ordered the French toast that, per the menu, comes with maple syrup. The food was pretty good, but the syrup was high fructose corn syrup and not maple syrup. What a disappointment.More

I ate buffet breakfast here for 3 days in a row. It was great and the service was great. I want to say her name was Katie(? dark hair, on the young side) was awesome. Food was good and hot and the coffee was good...too. It was a tad on the pricey side, but acceptable.More

Their hours are 6:30-11am for breakfast and at 11 lunch opens. I arrive at 10:15 for breakfast and the host tells me they’ve stopped seating breakfast already. I ask to have lunch then. Apparently today they decided to close early and won’t be offering lunch....I contact the front desk & they tell me they are not closing early and are indeed still serving breakfast. I go back and discuss with the host. She gets fed up and brings the chef out. It’s not until the chef comes out that they decided to make my breakfast. I’m handed a menu & the rude host stares me down and asks me to hurry.More

After waiting a long time (they did not seem that busy) for Eggs Benedict it was horrible. Muffin not toasted, Canadian bacon was cold, Eggs barely poached and the sauce was room temperature. We should have made a fuss but we could not even get...a second cup of coffee. We just paid and left (with the bad breaffast still on the plate.).More

We visited Louisville and stayed at The Galt House. This restaurant is located on the 2nd floor and was where we had breakfast every morning before heading out on our day's events. Clara was our server each morning and she was fantastic! She was so...sweet and nice. The food was great and the decor/surroundings were very nice.More

Victoria and Chef Lee were very kind to us. It was our anniversary and they hooked us up. The food was great and the desert was even better. We appreciated both of them for a great job. Stop in and experience a wonderful place.

Decided to have lunch at Walker's Exchange and was delighted with not only the food, but especially the service. Katie was our server and she went above and beyond to make sure that we were taken care of, and did it with such an upbeat...and positive attitude! We also had the chance to meet Erica, a manager, who was such a delight to talk to and went out of her way to create an experience for us that was memorable. Highly recommend the Short Rib Southern Hand Pies, Chicken Lettuce Wraps and the Gumbo! The food and the exceptional service is what will have us coming back during our next stay at The Galt House!More
