Went here because it smelled really good while walking up 4th street. Arrived about 630 on a Saturday night (which on 4th street you would expect they would make more BBQ those nights)told there was a 15-20 minute wait, which was fine. Went to sit down waiter got our drink orders (which included alcohol) then can back and proceeded to tell us they were out of pulled pork (which is included in multiple items on their menu). I was contemplating getting other items and then since it is an open kitchen I saw the ribs come out with no smoke ring and looked like ribs you could get at Chili’s. We saw other bad reviews, but thought we would try it and I would say we should have listened to others reviews.

We love to watch Guy, so thought it would be fun to try his restaurant. I'm not complaining about the food. Don't get me wrong, the food was good. I think we were just expecting more of a wow factor. We had lunch sandwiches, they were not warm/hot, fries were cold. Atmosphere was cool, waitress very sweet, helpful. I would like to go back and try an entree.

My wife and I were really excited to visit Guy’s Smokehouse. When we got there the waiter was amazing. This was our first time and he gave us a rundown of the menu, which was awesome. However, he informed us they were out of the trash can nachos, which was a huge bummer because my wife loves nachos. I ended up getting the Ribs and my wife ordered the pulled pork. The Ribs were great, they were full of flavor, the bbq sauce was sweet. My wife’s pulled pork though was cold...which was a big negative for us. The Mac and Cheese was really good though and totally worth the two dollar up charge. All in all we would go back, it was a good place to eat and the smell when you walk in and the service will bring us to go another round in flavortown.

They were out of the sauce I ordered because it was the most popular sauce. It was expensive. You order meat, and get nothing with it. No bread, and sides are ordered separately. My husband ordered pork, and it was just kind of blah. I got smoked sausage and it was dry and tasteless. His baked beans tasted like plain ol pork and beans. My macaroni had almost no cheese in it. I wound up getting pizza after we left because I was still hungry.

Went there for the first time and I wish we hadn’t. My husband got the brisket and I have never in my life had more dry, cold, old brisket in my life. Despite me telling him over and over to take it back and not eat it he ate it anyway. The Mac and cheese was cold and didn’t have much flavor and the baked beans were cold and even if they were hot wouldn’t have been good. My husband went to the bar and ordered us both a very expensive drink, he ordered me a bahama mama and the bartender Jessica didn’t even know how to make it. She looked up how to make one and I’m not sure what she looked up but it definitely wasn’t bahama mama but since it was over $10 I drank it anyway. The only thing we had that was good was the turkey but I will never return ever again.

Expected more! Smelled the smoke outside, no one was here we got on the cafeteria line & ordered 1/4 rack ribs & 1/2 lb brisket with water & potato salad for $30. Four tiny ribs were dry, 4 slices of brisket were fatty & salty, potato salad tasted like Mayo. BBQ sauce was an extra fee, wasn’t sure what we got or which was what. The plastic cutlery was garbage, had to get a second because the knife broke & fork fell apart. We won’t recommend nor come back.

This is located under the Fourth Street Live covered area. You can buy drinks/food and take them around the cordoned-off area as long as you tell them and get your drink in a plastic container. Very nice touch! The ambience is cool and the margarita was great!

You can smell the smoke from the outside. Our quarter rack of minuscule dry salty ribs and a half a pound of fatty greasy brisket with a small potato salad and waters came to $30. It almost seemed like they microwaved the ribs. They were dried and not much of a taste. Also they charge for BBQ sauce. Never seen that before or since. I put this one on the avoid list. It is cafeteria style where they give you a tray and you order at the counter.

We had a great experience here. You walk to the counter and order your meal, which they cut in front of you; wide variety of BBQ sauces. Everyone in our party loved their food. Portions were huge. I had the smoked turkey, which was amazing. Drinks are offered at the bar. You can eat inside or under the roof outdoors on 4th Street Live. After eating, we took our drinks outside and played corn hole for awhile. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly. We’ll be back next time we’re in Louisville!

We watch DDD and have been to several of the restaurants featured on that show. So, we jumped at the chance to eat at a Guy Fieri restaurant while we were at 4th Street Live in Louisville. While the food was ok/good (not great), everything comes in styrofoam and plastic, there is plastic cutlery, and this place is just an environmental nightmare. To make matters worse, the servers behind the counter man handle everything. They keep unwrapping and re-wrapping the meat because they couldn't remember what they had served and what still needed to be fulfilled. It was also pretty alarming to see the ribs come out of the warmer in plastic wrap. I was super disappointed.

Had very high hopes but they weren’t even close to in the game. First the line is very long and slow moving. Don’t let the smoker outside fool you they are using it to smoke the Meats !!
The ribs were overdone and over smoked all you could taste was smoke no flavoring and dried out.
The smoked sausage the mild one was on the spicy side,glad I didn’t get the spicy one. Again same problem you could taste any flavor very bland.
The Brisket was very fatty and again same taste issues.
Now for the sides.
The Mac and Cheeses was Kraft Mac and Cheeses out of the box with a ton of black pepper and not close to homemade.
The beans were out of the can and you could taste the liquid smoke.
After eating at manny BBQ places this isn’t worth the time or money.
Guy needs to call Restaurant Impossible to save his name and business.

We really enjoy Guy's restaurants. Boy was I really disappointed. We were a little after the lunch rush so thought it would be a good time to enjoy lunch. Not the case, our server was prompt on taking our order, from there things went downhill. When the food did finally come out it was cold, but our server didnt come back to check on our meal. Sure will think next time about eating at this restaurant or ant of his other spots.

My husband and I have visited this place a few times, so we've ordered several different entrees now. Everything we have ordered so far has been fantastic! I especially like the "trash can" nachos, bacon mac & cheese burger, pit smoked pig wings, and the big dipper. Cocktails were mixed well and were very tasty. Service has varied. When it is busy you can count on longer than average wait times, but the orders are always correct when they get to the table. I would definitely recommend this to others, and we will be returning again soon.

Our party of 4 tried different meats and sides. The meats were okay. The sides were disappointing to say the least. Two that were okay was the red potato salad and the baked beans. The mac and cheese was very disappointing as was the coleslaw. After pulling the bartender away from her phone at the bar, I ordered a cocktail that was served in a plastic glass and was terrible! The cafeteria style is okay but the cheap prepackaged plastic utensils made it difficult to eat.
Overall, a very disappointing experience by all 4 of us. Expected better from Guy.

The food here was pretty good, but I’d say that the service was the best part of our lunch. The staff was attentive and took good care of us. I had a pork sandwich and my husband had some monster of a burger with pork, beef, and an onion ring. Prices were okay. They kept our water glasses full.
