They had a great selection of pies. I had the banana cream and coconut. Excellent meringue and crust very tasty. Plenty of fruit pies also.

We made a quick stop in Louisville during a road trip and picked this poor excuse of a deli. The restaurant is disgustingly dirty, they were out of breads and only had one kind of cheese. All tables were dirty, restrooms had trash pile up and floors were horribly dirty. DO NOT EAT HERE.

As tempting as the pies and baked goods looked, I had to have the ice cream. It was on the softer side, like it had just been made. They have several fun flavors and the portions in the waffle cone are generous. So good I had to go back a second day while in the area.

We stopped in for dessert. This place is amazing. It took us quite awhile to narrow it down on what we wanted. They had so much to choose from. I had strawberry cake with cream cheese frosting- it was fabulous! We also got the boston cream cake along with ice cream. Pie, cake & ice cream- you name it they... More

Great place to visit for that perfect pie. M and I always make room for the Pie Kitchen when we visit Louisville. The ice cream is OK, but the pies are very good. I have not tried a bad one yet.

We had company visiting from out of state this past week and on a whim decided to stop and get pie after dinner out. Our son was with us and loves this place, so how could we go wrong? We ordered 6 different slices of pie, to go. Only 1 piece was enjoyed, the pecan. The rest were tasted and... More

First let me say I LOVE the Homemade Ice Cream & Pie Kitchen. We visit the original one just past Taylorsville Rd on Bardstown frequently. I purchase all of my desserts for gatherings at my home or others homes there. I have also made it a tradition to give all my new neighbors a welcoming gift from there. Our favorites... More

This location is understaffed. Some serious allergy training needs to happen. Prices are reasonable, taste is great. A binder with ingredient lists would be a game changer for food allergies, which are on the rise.

We make a stop at this Pie Kitchen every year when we attend the National Farm Machinery Show and sometimes we go 2 or 3 times. This year we went 3 times with 3 different groups of people and I do not know why, except for the convenience of the location of the restaurant and the pies/cakes they offer. The... More

While waiting for my wife and daughter to browse some stores I found myself leaning against the wall of Homemade Pie Kitchen. Since it was just after Thanksgiving and I missed the pie I strolled in to check it out. I ordered the Coconut Creme pie. Fresh, tasty, large and worth the money and effort. I took my last bite...
