Usually the food is very good and very consistent. We have eaten there a number of times. One time however, we both had bad meals and felt sick afterward. I am hoping that it was an isolated incident. The staff is very nice and helpful.

We have eaten at the Oasis Restaurant in Lexington, Kentucky many times. Healthy Mediterranean food any very plentiful. Fresh varied buffet and homemade lentil soup comes with buffet. Family owned and operated. This is our go-to restaurant for lunch. Great service from people who have...worked there for years. Best food in Lexington!!!More

While visiting Lexington, KY I ventured upon this delightful establishment. I arrived at an unusual time around 3:30 pm and wanted carryout service. I was politely greeted by a server who could pass as model. I ordered an assortment of food ranging from hummus, falafel,...and shawarma's . The server offered a complimentary cup of water while I waited and the food arrived with 15 minutes. The food was delicious, but more importantly, was affordable. I live in a major city and I am use to paying up to $2.00 more per entrée. I hope Lexington residents realize they have a gem in their city.More

While i was passing through Lexington, KY I wanted to have some mediterranean food with my wife and i have been through a couple of these in this city. I went to this place by looking in tripadvisor, i was lucky to get at lunch...time, they had buffet i paid around 9 dlls without drink. Among the selections you can make at buffet i suggest to have hummus, taboule, falafel and lentils. Alll the other options were kind of average and lentils were almost not chewable. However support this family owned business they seemed good but they need to show more friendly.More

My only regret about Oasis is that I didn’t come here sooner. I’ve been to the Middle East a number of times, and this food is the real deal. It looks a tad pricey at first, but the portions are enormous. I’ll definitely be back.

We went for the lunch buffet. The good: all the hummus you can eat, the spicy lentil soup was great, and there were some good vegetable options. The bad: the falafel were like charcoal briquets, there was only one meat entree (chicken). It would be...nice if everything were labeled so you would know what it was. Still, I found enough I liked to stuff myself.More

The place is losing it's charm and needs serious updating. The seats are ripped and uncomfortable, there were insects flying around while we tried to eat. Food is excellent and that's the only thing which makes it worth a visit. If you want a decent...dining experience I would go somewhere else or get take out.More

This place is a great value and the food is delicious. Very few restaurants maintain their results consistently, but for the last 18 years I've been eating here and it has never let me down. The lunch buffet is the bomb.

Last night, I met my 2 daughters for dinner at 8pm. While the food was lovely, we were rushed out by 9pm in a most discourteous way. Plates were removed as soon as we took a few bites. If we had been told the restaurant...was closing soon, it might have been alright, but the disrespect was too much. We felt so unwelcome that we will never return. I have lived in Turkey and in Bosnia amongst Muslim people and the hospitality is genuine. A special time together was ruined. A few minutes of respect would have made all the difference.... We were already rushing to accommodate them (we took most of our dinner in to-go boxes), but this was too much. A bad impression that will not go away... A shame after dining here for over 10 years...More
