All you can eat mussels/Tuesday. Our large party got poorly treated. One customer had the order within 15 min. Another waited 2 1/2 hours for his. Took THREE=hours to be served. Even the delivery of our checks, then return of our credit cards took MUCH too long to process. 95 degrees outside, AC set on 90? Miserable temps. Miserable service.

As usual, the food, and service, were superb. Whenever we visit Lexington for horse related activities we make a reservation for at least one meal here. No rush, great wine and spirits, and of course the food. What more could one ask for? Don't miss this experience!

Have wanted to do this for several months and the experience did not disappoint!! Monday night at Le Deauville is crepe night, all you can eat for $19.50/person! We all decided to get different crepes and share so we could taste as many as possible. That meant that we tasted almost all of the regular and most of the dessert... More

There is only so much one should put up with in a fine restaurant. For sure, the food takes precedence, but when the service is surly, unsmiling and smug, from management to wait staff, the generally quite good food and wine selections somehow become secondary. And yes, I know all about the famous French nonchalance and blasé attitude, perhaps tolerable... More

Let's cover the "sweet" part first. The food was great. Mi-madam and I both had mussels; and they were extraordinary good, Perfectly cooked/steamed, each one opened just enough for a small fork to fit in and hook the prize from the inside. Among the several sauce choices we went for "Dijon" and "Creole" and I'm still contemplating which one bested... More

It was a busy Friday night with both Rolex Kentucky beginning and Keeneland finishing. We made reservations to eat here several days ago. I would expect service to be a little slow with so much going on, but 3 1/2 hours to finish dinner is absurd. For comparison, I ate at Malone's the night before and service was top-notch and... The mussels seem to be tasty from the reviews of all the diners with whom we've eaten who have had them. I think this place is a bit pretentious, and prices are a bit high, but it is a nice place to dine downtown.

This is our very favourite restaurant in Lexington, KY. You will enjoy authentic French cuisine in a true French ambiance. 6 years now in Lexington and we are still enjoying Le Deauville restaurant as a couple, as a family, with friends and also with 25 + people during business dinners, and we never had a bad meal or bad service....
