If you like German restaurants this is not it. You will not find here well known German hospitality and the “German” food is awful. Veal schnitzel was poorly breaded, terribly cooked and had literally no flavor at all. Potato salad tasted like it came from...Costco and their Black Forest Cake was the worst I ever tasted. So if you are looking for good German restaurant cross this one off your list. Not worth it by any means. On a positive note if you just wanna drink German beer they have large selection. Just do not hope for good or prodfMore

Lots of TVs and huge selection of beers. Also have mixed drinks. Thus is a large place with in and outside volley ball courts and dart boards. There is also a restaurant side but we always go sports bar siide. Will is the manager and...nice guy. My wife and I go to Marrrika’s when we are in visiting Lexington.More

6 of us were at Ramsey’s Sunday night. Fortunately there was plenty of seating since it was serving a good sized crowd. I had a hot brown - which was fun to eat. They have a traditional style Hot Brown which they do well. I...always finish with a Key Lime pie. They set the Key Lime pie standard in Lexington. Their pies are Missy’s Pies - which they started. If you like home cooking, you’ll love Ramsey’s. Great service as well.More

My wife and I were there with family that did not know German cuisine. We made our beer choices from a 21-page list of beers. Three people at our table ordered different schnitzels and I had schweine braten. We found the food to be average...at best. The sauce on my braten just was not what I had experienced in over 40 trips to Germany. We were told that they offered indoor and outdoor volleyball there. I found that unique to all the German places I have been. To me, the best part was the selection of beers.More

We went to Marikka’s on a Friday night and we had a party of 9. We got seated right away and I was surprised because they weren’t very busy. The beer/alcohol menu was 22 pages so they definitely had something for everyone. After we received...our drinks we waited longer than expected before the waiter came back to take our order. When we received our order everything was correct and delicious. Even though our glasses were clearly empty we had to ask a number of times for refills. Overall, the food was delicious but the service was a bit lacking.More

This place used to have so much charm. The remodel makes it feel like a giant mess hall now. You'll wait forever for a drink if it's busy. Not the fun, dive-ish place it used to be. I'll still come back to try the food...on the restaurant side. Hopefully the schnitzel is still what it used to be.More

I have no idea why this place has so many bad reviews, servers and bar tenders where extremely helpful and polite, great selection of beers, I went with a group of 8, everyone cleaned they’re plates and thought it was delicious and the services was...fast. You can even get a healthy option of grilled chicken with two sides of veg which I ordered. I will definitely be back again and recommend this place to more friends!More
