I stopped in on my lunch break from work, for the Lobster Roll Combo. The food was really good! A little more than I usually spend for lunch, but it was worth it. Owners went out of their way to make me feel welcome and chat.

My husband and I stopped by for a quick bite strolling through town. Wow were we surprised! Immediately you are greeted by the friendly owner. The lobster rolls are a must! Fresh lobster flown in daily for his amazing creations. They truly are spectacular. We each had a lobster roll and a bowl of clam chowder. Both were delicious. A... More

Fifteen seconds in the door of Clawdaddy's and we knew we were going to like the place. Owner Tom Rogers welcomed us, learned we were first-time visitors and personally introduced us to his menu. Fresh shellfish is not common to casual dining in Lexington, and we were skeptical but willing to give the place a fair shot. We ordered the... More

Easy walk from hotel for a quick dinner before heading to basketball game. Long lines but it moves fast. Although lobster rolls are very good I think the best dish is the pot pie.

I was in Lexington for business. My daughter and I stopped by and got half lobster rolls to go. We also got cup of chowder and two whoopie pies. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I do not have another lobster roll experience to compare to except the word of my northern cousin who visits Maine frequently. That being said,... More

I've traveled to Lexington twice now, for work, and both times stayed in the downtown square area. I was so excited to be travelling again, if only so that I could visit Clawdaddy's once more! It's obvious the owner takes great pride in his restaurant, concept and food. As he said- causal restaurant, serious food. You will pay market price... More

I found this little spot and had a great lobster roll and a wonderful conversation with the owner. I took the lobster mac and cheese to go and made loud noises in my hotel room! Oh my.

Wouldnt go here at all. Coming from NYC, this place was not of a high quality and was very expensive. I was the only one there, I see why. Yikes.

We stumbled into this charming little bistro for lunch on Black Friday and found the owner behind the counter serving up fresh lobster rolls. We had recently traveled to Maine and Boston so we were a bit weary of trying the Kentucky version of a lobster roll. The charming owner assured us we wouldn't be disappointed. To our delight the roll... More

We went for dinner, but it is more @ lunch. Excellent chowders (lobster, shrimp), lobster rolls, lobster pot pie, Lobster Mac & Cheese, etc. Very high quality, but expensive. Not a very comfortable setting - stools and metal tables & bright lighting. Much better for lunch than dinner. We would not have chosen it w/o a strong recommendation, but are... More
