My husband and I went to try out a new place, because the parking lot looks full. This place is terrible. The calamari was awful. It had like a tempura batter that was spongy and cold. We both ordered shrimp pasta dishes (mine a chef...specialty) and there was nothing special about either one. The menu states the paisano shrimp is served over linguini. No, can with penne. Server disagreed with me until I showed him the menu. The wine was hot, not 55-60 degrees like a cab should be served. It is cheap, so you get what you pay for. We will not be back. It was that bad.More

We enjoy local mom and pop places and this one does not disappoint. They have a huge selection on the menu and a decent wine list. The Toklas with the meal were awesome and our chicken was perfect. Dessert was great as well. Our server...was attentive and had a great sense of humor. Can’t wait to go back.More

this is by far better than giusseppes and Joe blognas. I ordered the sampler plater and it was amazing, almost as good a homemade if not as good.

Been a customer for years. My meal was cooked to mush. Complained to waitress who said she’d inform kitchen then asked if I wanted to-go box. My companion thought his meal tasted off but ate some anyway. Bad idea. Until then I’ve never had bad...meal or poor service. No adjustment to bill eitherMore

Paisanos is a family favorite. It's a quiet little Italian restaurant that serves delicious Italian food. I highly recommend the cheese loaf appetizer with marinara sauce and the meatballs. Best ever.

Visiting Lexington for 4 days from Texas, Brought here Tuesday 7:30ish by in-laws. Paisanos their neighborhood go-to place for good and reasonably priced fare. Sinatra music in background, absolutely no disappointments. Service prompt and efficient, full bar, wine selection by-the-glass covered varietals you expect with...Italian food. Located in a strip center, entrance not obvious, it in the corner.More

Thank you so much for taking the time to write about your experience at Paisanos. That means a lot to a small family owned restaurant.

We ate here a few years ago, and our experience was not positive, but it this time it was very good. We were greeted by our server who had a server-in-training with her. We were brought a nice bottle of Cabernet, along with some huge...hot yeast rolls, and they were delicious. My husband and I split an order of Caesar salad and eggplant Parmesan, and our friends had the chicken Marsala. The Caesar salads came out fairly quickly, but the entrees were slow to be delivered. Our server told us the kitchen was backed up, and our orders would be out soon. All the meals were delicious, and we were too full for dessert. I'm glad this little place has come back around. They were quite busy, and much positive energy abounded!More

First, kudos to our waitress Chelsea, who was prompt and attentive. She kept the meal moving, but we never felt rushed. My husband had Paisano’s Chicken and I had Eggplant Parmesan. The dinners came with hot fresh bread and a cold crisp salad. We each...had a glass of wine, served at the perfect temperature for each. Don’t overlook this hidden treasure!More

Three of us started with a couple of starters. Fried Mushrooms and fried calamari were both lightly battered and fired perfectly. The waitress was excellent, very attentive and friendly. The entrees were also the best of our three meals in Lexington. Great job! We had...an array of entrees, pasta, veal, and eggplant.More
