The patio provides a wonderful setting with luxurious vegetation and casual atmosphere. Service was excellent. The food has been for a long time quite typical southern cuisine, especially the sides---slow cooked (in my view overcooked) almost all. The roast beef special was ample but plain; the friend chicken ordinary, and the pork roast, adequate, but nothing to write home about,... More

We went to Merrick Inn with two close friends and found this 'old standby' to be just as good as it ever has been. The food is consistently very good and the service excellent. The menu offers something for just about anyone's tastes. We consider this restaurant to be one of the better values in Lexington because a salad and... More

The environment is very inviting and people are friendly and professional. I would recommend for business and causal dinning with friends.

The place itself was great. The waiter, a really nice guy, was a little overworked, despite his best efforts, could have used a little help. Cocktails were a bit slow. The wine arrived after the main course... But the food was really terrific.

My husband and I tried Merrick Inn for our Anniversary dinner. We were a little disappointed to be sitting next to a large table there to celebrate a birthday; they were pretty loud for the small space. However, the waiter was great and made the experience as pleasant as possible. The ribeye was delicious, along with the broccoli casserole, potato,... More

we were traveling from missouri and chose this Inn to celebrate-the food was fantastic-from the salad to the Entree-we had the Pork Chop, New York strip and shrimp over cheese grits. no desert because we were too full-and our waitress was the best-a little noisy

We ate here during restaurant week and enjoyed the special $26 3 course dinner. We shared grouper fingers with a mustard sauce as a appetizer. My wife had a pecan crusted pork tenderloin which was great. It was enhanced with a Makers Mark apple bourbon sauce. I ordered the walleye which was just ok. For dessert we enjoyed peach bourbon... We overnighted in Lexington and found this restaurant on TA. What a pleasant experience. Located in a residential compound in an old home this very southern attentive restaurant was delightful. The food was wonderfully southern and executed well. The fried chicken suburb and green beans outstanding. The pork was a little overcooked but flavorful. Service was excellent. Great Southern Charm!

We had the pleasure of experiencing the Lobster/Crab Nachos appetizer...Yummo! These were just delightful! No onions and it wasn't too spicy...just how I like them. The size of the appetizer served 4 people at our table easily! Great place...and great food!
