The artichoke fritters were decent. The shrimp in the poyboy sandwich was very good, but the bread to stuffing ratio was off. The potato salad was just potatoes with 1-2 tiny pieces of celery. The coconut pie was the best thing I had.

Everyone who’s been here knows it’s a Must-To in Lexington. But if you REALLY want to enjoy, go in a Monday! No Crowd! Easier to enjoy all that delicious food😀
Wow what a find! Oyster basket and the best sorghum pork chops I've ever had. Nice bottle of wine Friendly staff and warm local crowd made a. Great night and the four sorghum as big as my hand cookies and milk later topped it off...perfectly 😘In fact it was it was sooooo good we went back for breakfast and OMG it was fantastic 🤩 Breakfast burrito was a notch above and my husband had an oyster po boy and has decided thatMore
Out of six ppl — the two of us that had burgers were the most disappointed. They were average at best. Do yourself a favor and order something else off the menu. You’ll be happy you did.
In Kentucky on family visit and was recommended by family members. Scenic drive, a little long but worth the drive. Typical country roads but scenic in horse country. Ample parking and pleasant atmosphere. Roomy dining areas. Order at counter and food is brought to your...table surprisingly quick. Menu selection somewhat limited but varied. Food was overall good..More
The food here is always consistently good. Even though you order at the counter, the service to your table is usually pretty quick. There can be a long line waiting to order but it moves quickly. And the desserts are excellent!
Service can be a bit slow, but food is worth a short trip. It's typically busy, but there is a good amount of seating. You wait in line to place your order, then they bring it to your table.
This is a great place to visit. They have a huge variety of foods, including desserts. It is a Kentucky Proud restaurant and most of their ingredients are grown in Kentucky. Whatever you get is fresh and tasty. I had chicken fingers and they were...fresh and made in their kitchen and not frozen out of a box. The sandwiches were not skimpy. Everything is in big portions. Save room for dessert.More
We went there on a Sunday morning about 10:00 am and it was pretty busy. We ordered eggs, country ham and grits. We had to wait about 45 minutes for our food, but it was well worth it! The food was great and everyone that...works there was incredibly nice; we just really enjoyed ourselves and I loved all the local products that were available for sale. My Mother grew up right down the road on Muir Station and when I was little I remember this was a country store. I love that they stayed with that same look.More
We were passing through, as part of a large organized bike ride. From the outside, it looks like a very simple venue. The restaurant features regional dishes and fresh pies/cakes in addition to local KY products... sauces, soda, art, etc. You order at a counter...and they bring food to your table. After ordering, they said it would be a 45 minute to 1 hour wait. We decided to wait as there were limited options along our route. Generally the food quality was very good, and everyone enjoyed what they had. I had a well seasoned shrimp po’boy. My only complaint was there was too much bread, and I’d like to have had a sauce of some kind to help balance it out. I’d like to go back on a less crowded day. It seems popular with the locals.More
