Eggs, grits, toast and coffee for less than $10 surrounded by a colorful selection of horse people - hot walkers, jockeys, trainers, owners, vets and more. We usually go on days when there is no racing --- it is quieter -- but racing days are more colorful. The food is good, the staff are always friendly and helpful and everyone... More

Eat with the jockeys and trainers. Good food at great prices. Buffet style. They will do special requests. Not fancy. Just good.

The staff is so great...the food is excellent...and the pricing you just cant beat. PLEASE keep in mind this is a real track kitchen so your not going to get all the fancy table service, cloth napkins, and beautiful silverware. What you will get is great food. Great Service...and Great Value!

What a gem! Don't expect gourmet meals, but the food is really good for a cafeteria. Staff was friendly.... Food very reasonably priced and place very clean.

The food here is decent--nothing fancy, but it's perfect if you're there to watch the morning workout. After an hour out in the cold, a hot breakfast and complimentary steaming cup of brewed coffee hits the spot! Their cappuccino wasn't bad either.

So, I was drawn to the track kitchen while given a tour by a Keeneland employee. She brought me here just to show me the pictures on the wall and told me it's an experience. I came back for their breakfast special because it was $5 and I wanted to eat something more local. The fact that I paid $5... More

Not all that obvious or promoted but a must as part of any visit to the Keeneland race track. A chance to experience another dimension of life at the track rubbing shoulders with grooms, hot walkers, exercise riders, owners, trainers and everyone else associated with making the place work. Its location also ensures that you see parts of the operation... More

We went to the Track Kitchen to eat lunch before entering the grounds at Keeneland. DD and I both ordered a made-to-order sandwich and an order of fries to share. Each of us also had a bowl of banana pudding. The food was very good, plentiful, and very reasonably priced. We arrived around 12:30 and the place wasn't too busy.... More

Passing through Lexington earlier this past July (2016), I urged the family to let me choose a stop at the Track Kitchen. What we experienced was a deplorable let-down and sad realization of how things have deteriorated since the dismissal of Turf Catering and the new oversight by an executive chef fresh from a major resort hotel. Here is my... More

The food is very good, prices are good and the atmosphere is unique. If you have out of town guests, bring them here, to rub elbows with trainers, jockeys, grooms and horse owners. The Kentucky Derby winning trainer, may be sitting at the next table. Now open for lunch.
