Just had some of the best fish and chips that I have had, huge fish portion and very well cooked. As always with this super little pub service is friendly and welcoming.

The Gardeners Arms is a lovely, welcoming village pub with friendly staff. The food was reasonably priced as was the wine. Food portion sizes were more than we expected so the next time we ate there we didn't have a starter! My husband said the steak and ale pie was one of the best he has had - and that... More

This is a lovely old pub that serves reasonably priced home cooked food. There's often a lovely open fire which is very welcoming. The wine is reasonably priced too.

First time we visited this pub on a sunday and all chose the Roast, unable to decide we had the mixed - chicken, beef with yorkshire pudding and pork with crackling and stuffing. All the meat was extremely tender, and comes from a local butcher, the vegetables were cauliflower, carrots, green beans, peas, roast and boiled potatoes. It was a... More

Came here on a weeknight with some friends for a meal. The service was good and when we asked if they could turn the heating up they were very obliging. The food was good pub food and a good price. Would come again

We can highly recommend The Gardeners for both the food and service. Each time we have been for a meal the food has been fantastic. What we call good old fashioned pub grub. We are greeted as though we are frequent customers although we can only visit a few times each year when seeing family. I wish we had a... More

We first came to this pub around April this year and now pop in for lunches regularly. The staff are friendly, the food is lovely and they don't mind having the horse in the garden either 😊🏇🏿 No one makes you feel unwelcome and they will change something on the menu if they can to suit your requests. Feel totally... More

Went here on Sunday 11th wit two friends for a roast dinner and was absolutely gobsmacked when our roast was brought out, the beef was perfectly cooked, the Yorkshire pudding perfect and the size and quality was amazing! Staff were extremely accommodating and will be back very soon!
