Delicious lunch, beautifully presented and extremely well cooked. Despite being a very busy Friday, the staff were helpful and smiley

Had a wonderful meal in this country pub. Food was great and it was good value too . The staff are friendly and welcoming and parking is easy I'm still dreaming of the Scallops Cheese board was generous too

We had had an issue/misunderstanding with a table booking end Oct last year and managment in replying on TA asked we give them another chance. Today we had Sunday lunch but unfortunately there was THE noisiest screaming children in the private room close to where we were seated it was impossible to block out the noise and have an enjoyable... I've been three times now to the white horse and what a great pub. Some pubs that do great food sometimes take their eye off the beer but not here, it's a proper pint and on par with the Dove in Bury. Good prices and the food is expetional, large portions and really nice staff. Got chatting to the owner... More

Friendly village pub with good beers in a delightful setting. On our next visit will try the menu. Whepstead has its soul restored!

We went to this lovely pub as recommended by owners of cottage. There were 2 different rooms to choose from, we choose the quieter of the 2 as we had a young puppy with us. Sufficiently far from the bar not to distract puppy. Has starters and main course, food was preportioned that a pudding was simply out of the... More

We had a really lovely lunch on Sunday as a four and returned today for lunch as a two. Lovely welcome and lovely food with lovely staff. The fire was lit in the bar and the entire pub was very busy giving a really friendly feel. There is a very good choice of dishes across a selection of menus catering... More

We have lived in Whepstead for nearly 4 years and before April this year we had only visited the Whitehorse 4 times. Under the previous owners drinking was not welcomed, only dining, so we are thrilled that the new owners, who are working so hard, have welcomed the villagers back. We are regulars now and the pub has a lovely... More
