Good welcome and service. Pleasant enough in the garden. Ham and melon salad very tasty. Certainly worth a revisit.

Difficult to decide what to have, despite it being a smallish menu. It all sounds so tempting. They now have a seasonal menu, with items on the menu being generally locally sourced and in season, so nothing from the freezer!

Went to The Bear Inn for Sunday Lunch. An extensive menu was presented. We both chose the roast beef. This was not long in arriving and it was superb. The Yorkshire pudding was exceptional. Mind the horse radish sauce which was new and freshly made but extremely strong. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The chef must be highly... More

Called in for a drink with a view to have a meal. It was clear from the start we were not welcomed. We asked for a table but informed they were fully booked though at the time only five people sat at the tables. Very strange crowd in the bar and it appeared that strangers were not welcomed.

Having had a fabulous meal here in 2013, we returned with friends. Sadly, the occasion didn't match up to our memory of the previous visit. The staff were friendly, the ambience good, but the food was very average. One of us was gluten-free. Our waiter was not very helpful regarding gluten-free choices; in fact, gluten-free options were limited - for... More

Have lived in Beyton for 8 years and only ever visited for a drink. Heard the pub had changed hands and thought we'd give it a go, all the starters and mains were lovely, very tasty and well presented. Will definitely return 👍🏼

In spite of being a busy Bank holiday with beer festival and BBQ, we had an excellent meal. The staff were very helpful and did not hurry us for our order....... the menu was so appetising it was hard to choose. We had 2 starters to share; baked camembert and sardines. Our mains were salmon, cod & chips, 2 burgers,... More
