We came here due to recommendation from good pub guide . We met our friends here for lunch . Lunch menu good but more pricey than the last time we visited. We had ham egg and chips, breaded pork escalope, tuna mayo jacket and the burger . Ham excellent jacket huge but burger dry and not seasoned and my breaded pork escalope... More

Took the children for half term holiday. Found this lovely little pub/resturant in colwall by chance. So we had a amazing warm welcome by a very polite waitress who served us . Great varieties of ales and beers plus wine for the wife, soft drinks for the kids. I had the beef roast which was juicey, tender and rare, tall... More

We visited The Chase Inn for Sunday Lunch to celebrate my grandfather's 93rd birthday and unfortunately we had a very poor experience. Yes the pub is a bit dated and dark, but we weren't bothered by that - we were just looking forward to a good Sunday roast. Sadly that is not what we got: dry, overcooked roast potatoes, carrots... Tucked away but ideally placed on our walking route. The perfect lunch stop during our Malvern Hill walk. Charming garden with beautiful views across the counties. Good wholesome lunch pub food and good real ales. Friendly staff. The pub is unspoilt and no doubt has looked that way for many years. Lovely to see that no one has spoilt that... More

Arriving one sunny September lunch time and greeted by a very pleasant young man, we were pleased to sit out in the two tiered garden with lovely view. The menu is fairly traditional pub fayre and I enjoyed a hearty ham and pea soup with chunks of potato, rather under seasoned but pleasant enough followed by a good value rare... More

I am sure on a beautiful day when you can sit in the lovely garden looking out on the beautiful view for a drink or a spot of lunch then it's great but I can only talk from our one experience of an evening meal. Inside the decor is like stepping back in time, very old fashioned, dark and dare... More

Delightful dog friendly Inn selling only local food that's prepared on site. You may have to wait for it to be cooked but well worth it. And if it's a good day weatherwise don't miss sitting out in the garden- a spectacular view across the countryside sitting in a super garden. Food couldn't be better-not cheap at £25 for two... We stumbled upon this pub whilst looking for another one we did not find. There are pros and cons. There is a really stunning view and lots of outside seating. That has to be a major attraction. There is a bit of a trek from the pub to the garden where the views are. One of the bars faces on... More
