Would have been 5 stars but for the lack of hot meal options at lunchtime when we visited. I want to choose something that wows me not settle for something. That said, the fish and chips was excellent. My friend couldn't finish her portion. Efficient and friendly service. We adjourned outside after eating and the garden area is beautifully maintained,... This is your old style pub, dog and walker friendly, with an outside beer garden to enjoy the views. The staff are friendly and the food is good. It's hidden away but seek it out, there is plenty of parking and it's the best pub on the Malvern Hills.

Visited recently on the recommendation of some friends who rave about this place. Sadly we cannot do the same. We arrived for Sunday lunch and all ordered a roast. When the food came the waitress appeared frustrated at having to serve us. My Mother suffers with the early onset of Alzheimers and she can forget what she's ordered. The waitress... More

We had read the good reviews but maybe we went on a bad day. The menu was limited with little choice and when we found something that was order able we were certainly not blown away by the quality. The service was ok and they do make you feel welcome but more of a choice of food would be preferable

This pub is in such a nice place , you can park up and walk the Malvern Hills for hours if you want , then back for food.I had the fish and chips and it was to die for, the fish was really really nice ( large portions as well) I actually could not finish my meal. Saying that i... More

Superb Sunday lunch with a choice of roast beef, pork or lamb, a vegetarian roast and a fish dish. We had the beef, deliciously tender , served rare as we like it,and fresh vegetables served separately. Advise booking to avoid disappointment. Will definitely be going again.

My son took me to this fabulous country pub for lunch. It is tucked away down a narrow lane on the quiet, south side of the Malvern Hills. It has a traditional feel inside, upholstered benches, lots of polished wooden tables and a good selection of local ales and cider. The menu was interesting and reasonably priced. We shared the... Very welcoming and dog friendly. Lovely garden with superb views. The pub has a cosy "local" feel. Food good. Parking not over abundant, but we've always been able to find a space.

Stopped here on he recommendation of a local in another pub that wasn't serving food!! Its in the middle of nowhere but in a beautiful location with stunning views. Food wasn't served to until 6.30 on Bank Holiday Monday, so enjoyed a drink in the small, but pleasant garden enjoying those views. It was busy with dog walkers, and the... More
