About
The Old Stone Farmhouse is an award winning, fine dining restaurant. Set in a wooded valley this restaurant is located in a 200 year old restored field house on the lush countryside of St. Thomas. It was created as a stable for a nearby Danish sugar plantation, and the walls are more than 2 feet thick. Ceiling fans and breezes blowing through the valley keep the place cool. The building's distinctive character is shown with native stone walls, original hardwood floors, brick arches, and a charming covered palm-lined courtyard. The restaurant features "Chef Inspired" fine dining in an intimate and elegant atmosphere. The cuisine is ingredient driven and will change with each season. The Old Stone

My husbands birthday dinner was amazing! Perfect atmosphere and the food was out of this world! I highly recommend this restaurant if you love fine dinning and a taste of perfection. The truffle cheese on our charcuterie board was incredibly good, and the salmon my...husband had was tastefully fantastic. The drinks are an experience of delight on their own.More

While the location seemed a bit remote, the food and atmosphere were definitely worth the trip. It really IS an old stone farmhouse, rustic in appearance, nestled in a lush hillside. Be forewarned, no AC, although a pleasant cross breeze. A heaping dish of mussels...topped with 2 crusty slices of artisan bread was served in a delectable sauce made with cream, garlic, herbs and a hint of Dijon. The Avocado Benedict had generous slices of ripe avocado and perfectly poached eggs topped with just the right amount of silky Hollandaise and accompanied by crispy diced potatoes and a small watermelon wedge. The mimosas were well-balanced, and both chilled sparkling water were available. Service was attentive but not obtrusive. Make sure to visit if you want to enjoy an excellent leisurely meal.More

Some of the best food you will find anywhere! Beautiful spot, great service. Entrees and desserts are amazing. I had the tuna, wife had the filet Oscar and both were so so good. The issue is the temperature inside the restaurant. Had to be 76...or above our entire meal. Fans were kicking but there’s no AC and no breeze from the bay. Dress like you are going to eat on a summers day. We ordered probably 5-6 bottles of water to keep us hydrated. Even a 7:30pm reservation was Smokin! Love the place. Love the food. Love the service. Kick in some reasonable ac and it’s the best of the best!More

My friend from the island made it his mission to take me to some of the best restaurants on the island and this was definitely my favorite! We made reservations for a Friday night, and when we pulled up the valet took care of us...right away. We walked into the restaurant and it took me back in time. The decor and ambiance was just so well done with the perfect amount of class. We opted for the bar top, where CoCo took care of us. We started with a couple of glasses of champagne. My friend raved about the seafood chowder, so naturally we had to order it. It was hands down the best chowder I’ve ever had. The Maitre D, Barb even came to greet us and check in on us. Then the head chef, Justin came by to say hello. He recommended the burratta drizzled in balsamic and it was SO GOOD. For dinner I had the grilled salmon filet on a bed of rice and asparagus, and my friend ordered the Ossobuco. My salmon was absolutely delicious, as well as his Ossobuco (he was generous enough to give me a couple of bites). For dessert Coco made us some amazing espresso martini’s, and Chef Justin came by with some recommendations for dessert. He whipped us up the most incredible chocolate mouse to end our night! From start to finish, it was an amazing experience and I will definitely be back!More

My wife had the veal osso and it was absolutely amazing. I had the filet Oscar, and my only complaint is that it was absolutely drenched in hollandaise. I mean it was to the point I had to scrape it off because it just overpowered...the amazing filet. The ambiance is wonderful and authentic. If it wasn’t for the sheer volume of hollandaise on a $98 steak, it would easily be a five star review.More

My wife and I live on St. Thomas, and we eat out a lot. Thankfully, now that the Covid-19, infection rate on the Island is low, restaurants are returning to their pre-pandemic schedules. That includes the Old Stone Farmhouse. It offers some of the best...food, and finest service on St. Thomas. In addition, the setting is uniquely romantic. It's literally, a beautifully restored Virgin Islands, old stone farmhouse and court yard. You can request seating in either location. While a couple other restaurants also offer a fabulous dining experience, this restaurant's Sunday Brunch is exceptional. Right now, it's in a class by itself. Everything on the menu we've had has been outstanding. Last Sunday, when we ate there, my wife had the Cajun Skillet. She loved it! To me brunch means breakfast, so I had the French Toast. It's really, really good. The bottle of Veuve Clicquot Rose, we had, paired perfectly with each of our dishes. These days, OSF is our go to place for brunch on Sundays. Obviously, we recommend it highly!More

Go… Eat, relax and enjoy great food and impeccable service, in a historic building. Ask about the history. Our meals were perfectly prepared and our water and drink glasses were never empty. Lastly, do not miss the desserts!

Had a nice dinner there and just lived everything about the place. They clearly care about their guests and try to make their experience as enjoyable as possible. We had a snafu where a cab unfortunately couldn’t get to us for quite some time and...the restaurant was so kind about it made sure we were well cared for at the bar until our ride arrived.More
