Excellent cuisine from Chef Rodney. Attentive, professional service by a dedicated team. Our regular "going out for dinner" place.

We just went to this restaurant tonight and it was amazing! We are here on business from Boston. Since we truly have the freshest seafood from our area, I was very hesitant to order the seafood here. However, it was SO good! Just as good as any restaurant on the ocean from our area! I would definitely recommend Rodney's to... More

A year ago, we ended up at Rodney's because a very nice lady at the front desk of the Hampton Inn said it was the best place to go for a fine, comfortable dinner. We went. She was right. We sat at the smallish but well appointed bar and had a first-rate meal. No recollection of what we ate, except... More

Great quiet place for an anniversary celebration. Great service in a beautiful setting. The chef Rodney makes a point to come out and speak to every customer. We Had a perfect ribeye steak (6 oz petite) for $30. Good crab cake appetizer with lots of lump crab with no filler ($15) Spouse had special of beef bourguenon $40 and we... More

Had dinner here on a quiet weeknight. Food was excellent, starting with goat cheese salad. We had the baked salmon entree and the chef's special pasta dish, both of which I would recommend. Service was also excellent, helped by the fact that few people were there. But what keeps it from being five stars are the prices, more appropriate for... More

Top restaurant in the region and a notable amongst Southerners. The signature crab cakes are a must-have! The deserts are amazing. The charming atmosphere of an 1840 home makes for a cozy dining experience. The bar scene you'll find local luminaries and International visitors. Always a delightful dining experience. 5-Star!

We were visiting in the Georgetown area, after completing the Bourbon Trail, and asked some local folks for some dinner ideas. We had some of the finest meals that we have ever had. The service was wonderful. The waitress was very knowledgeable about the bourbon and wine and could walk us thru the preparation of each of our meals. The... More

Looking for a perfect place to end a race day, this is it. Our party of ten booked a private room on our trip to Keeneland. Everyone's meal was perfect, as was the service. The bone in ribeye covers the plate and melts in your mouth. After dinner drinks in the room off the bar with the fireplace is the... More

Rodney's is a place to have fun dining. The staff is knowledgeable and the menu selections are well thought out. The bar is cozy and they have a patio. The weather was beautiful and we had our cocktails outside before being seated. We ordered Sea Scallops and Pork Belly for starters and the main courses varied from Lamb, Duck, Steaks... More

Drive just a bit north of the JAIL and you will notice this nice old house. We found a street parking spot right out in front of the side entry. We were spending the night in Georgetown and had not planned to come here but after seeing the traffic to go down to Lexington the other night it seemed like... More

Description
month. The old house has been renovated and is just lovely for an upscale dinner at a reasonable price point. Entrees are served with a choice of soup, salad or sweet and range from $15 - $20. Appetizers range from $5. - $9. We had the crab cakes to start - the sauce was lovely but the crab cake was on the cold side. The Bourbon Barrel Salmon was outstanding but my lamb special was served less than warm, a overdone for my liking - when speaking with the server, she went back to the kitchen and I was told this was the last of the lamb needed more au jus or some mint sauce to complement. Upon request for mint sauce they brought out the chefs homemade special steak sauce. It was wonderful! It went well with the roasted lamb. The roasted vegetables were delicious albeit just warm.
