We've been to Rodney's several times, and each time are impressed with the quality of the meal and the great staff. In this post-pandemic environment, it is refreshing to go to a business that makes no excuses, just delivers high quality food with great service....A go-to place when we want a great dinner.More

Dined July 23, 2021. Server was Stacy who was extremely knowledgeable and made some great suggestions. Only my second time there. I live in LEX and travel the U.S. and this is as good as it gets. It is just as good as Tony's and...Jeff Ruby's in Lexington - warning- it is also just as expensive. But the service, presentation and quality of food was tremendous! We had the filet, divers scallops and shrimp, the crabcake app with potato casserole, kale and mexican flavored grits. All the desserts looked great but we had no room. Rodney came to all the table to check on the diners. Bill for two with 4 drinks was $183 plus tip. Go there!More

My sister and I chose to dine at Rodney’s on a whim. We had no idea that we were about to experience a most memorable meal! The lobster bisque was a perfect balance of flavors. Our salads were an art form featuring Campari tomatoes. But...the highlight was the fresh, Alaskan haddock. Served on a bed of perfectly cooked grits, the fish was delectable. The fish was topped with a savory sauce including shoepeg corn cut from the cob and finished with swirls of Hollandaise. The variety of textures and flavors made my mouth so happy that I am at a loss for words to describe. Rodney is a master!More

We love Rodney's! If you are visiting the Bourbon Trail, this is a don't miss spot for dinner. Rodney blows us away with his specials. This is a rare treat in a small town.

What an awesome dining experience my wife and I had at Randy's on Broadway. The food, ambience, and service were superb. The calamari, lamb chops, pork, and Cesar salads were all terrific. If you seek excellent dining Rodney's surely fits the bill.

As a road warrior the first thing I notice and appreciate is feeling welcomed as though my server is a people person who love people especially after a long week on the road. I know the difference in those that are there for the pay-check/tip...and those who want to truly serve. I have enjoyed how comforting it is to sit down in front of any of this staff. It's the next best thing to being home and greeted by family glad to see you! The food is amazing. You'll feel they are cooking just for you. This place HAS IT ALL. It reminds me of the long lost days of Supper Clubs where every town had several. Rodney's is a Rarity. It's an event. Hope they never leave. Wish they would hold seminars for other restaurants and staff on how to do it right!!!More

The Duck is worth the “price of admission” trip... seafood chowder (when available) is as good as you’ll find on the coast... Rodney’s great with his dressings, soups and sauces. But ask for substitutions. They are rare.

We had a date night here and it was overall a good experience. We started with the calamari appetizer and I liked it even though I’m usually not a fan of that. My husband shared a bite of his tomato soul soup and it was...divine. He had the sea bass on grits with asparagus which had a nice flavor with a little Cajun kick. I had the filet mignon and panko crusted baked potato. I was a bit disappointed with my filet as I didn’t taste any seasoning on it at all and it was quite bland. We split the flourless chocolate cake for dessert and it was extremely thick and rich, but not exceptional. I wanted to try the carrot cake, but he won. The ambiance is very nice and we had great service. We each had one glass of wine and with tip, our meal was right at $200 so for us, it’s a place to go for a special occasion and not an every day dinner out.More

We were dining last week just after opening due to being closed because of COVID. Even due to mask restrictions, etc. they still know how to have a wonderful experience at Rodney's. It was exceptional and is still my favorite restaurant for the most tender,...and devine lamb chops ever! ! We had the special appetizers of beef kabobs, outstanding!, but the crispy duck was over the top!!! the carrot cake is as delicious as it is beautiful. Seriously, this restaurant is a 5 star. And... our dessert , carrot cake , made in house, looked liked out of SouthernkMore

I have seen all types of dress as they have a room for meetings. For a nice Evening out I would suggest business casual.
