I came to Wilshire’s mid week with a group of 25, full of hopeful trepidation. The reviews are so hit or miss I was worried. Reservations were made so you’d think they would be ready. The old building is lovely. The trash around it is...More

The restaurant was very accommodating to our group. We had made a reservation and they placed us in basically a private room. Food and service was also good.

Wilshire's is a dependable great meal every time we go. The catfish is the best I've ever eaten and the steaks are outstanding. Great appetizers and the bar drinks are always well prepared. Highly recommend if your in the Georgetown area

Wilshire's combines quality food with an historic atmosphere. Located in the historic home of Gen. John Payne, the original structure was constructed in 1790. The 11 room house provides ample space for small groups, weddings, business luncheons and holiday gatherings. The menu offers a diverse selection of comfort foods, soups, salads, steaks and seafood. The bar has a very large selection of Kentucky's finest bourbons and local brews. Wilshire's is very family friendly and features ample parking.
