We fount the place by chance just driving through Lassiti area. Passing by this Taverna we liked a lot the interior and stopped to check out the menu. My mom liked the goat and I wanted Mysithra, so we agreed to enter:) Lady owner was very nice with us. She has this rare talent of food description - make simple... More

It was great experience! Visited in June 2016. We found this place by lucky chance - without knowing what is it or how good it is. We were passing by when going to the Zeus Caves and initially stopped just for a refreshing drink. After seeing the attractions we planned to visit - we decided to come back to this... More

We went there on a sunny afternoon. The place is a little far from Heraklion but absolutely worth for a visit. You must try their Dakos. The best one we had on Crete. Other food was also delicious and the owners were very nice.

This Taverna was very packed when we went in October. We had the broad beans (which were delicious but a little undercooked) the aubergine salad, which was very good but plain and an OUTSTANDINGLY GOOD lamb with artichokes. The meat just fell off the bone, and the artichokes were incredible. Our order was taken quickly and food arrived promptly but... More

Great restaurant! With outdoor patio which was great for those with kids to play around and collect walnuts (as the name suggests ;)) Attention was great with lovely service and recommendation. Good was lovely. We had wonderfully Greek / Crete typical food and wine. We would go back in a heart beat. Highly recommended !!

This taverna is in a beautiful setting up in the mountains. The traditional Greek style food was awesome. I was just what we were looking for!

After reading reviews of this place, we knew we had to try it and we weren't disappointed! The lady that served us was funny, kind and patient and even though we only ordered vegetarian dishes in the end, it was lovely! Fava has become one of my fave dishes and the dakos was to die for! If you're making a... More

We came across this Taverna by accident whilst exploring the Mountains above Malia with two dear friends. We travelled up past the new dam that had only filled up with water this past Winter, you can just see the last few buildings of the village that has been covered by the new reservoir. We visited the village of Krassi to... More
