Our daughter and son in law had heard of this restaurant and it was as good as they had heard. Appetizers of fried catfish and goetta nachos were very tasty. The nachos were unusual but real good. We all enjoyed our meals. Both breakfast plates (served all day) were large and reported to be quite good. The gravy actually had... More

I have been here many times so I took my wife, daughter and grandson to lunch. Once again our food was good and there was more than we could eat. I usually go for breakfast because they are one of the best breakfast restaurants in the area.

Good for what it is, a old style, home cooked restaurant. I had the ribeye my wife had the baked cod. We both enjoyed our meals. The green beans were good, the spinach was amazing. We'll be back for sure.

The food is always hot, fresh, and good. The service is excellent and the price is very reasonable. The fresh baked pies are so good. The fried chicken is well worth the wait.

Really don't understand the appeal of this place, after a couple of trips. They do advertise home style, but I think that just refers to the building and decor. My husband and I gave it a second chance while our cars were being serviced. When we arrived, our hostess ignored the largely empty main dining room and escorted us past... More

I got the Kentucky Hot Brown, and my wife got the Fresco Chicken. The Hot Brown consisted of some toast covered in what seemed like Campbell's soup, with a couple of bacon strips on the top. The Fresco Chicken was a small piece of "meat" seemingly covered in Italian dressing. The bland salad was accompanied by a packet of Newman's... More

Colonial Cottage offers a good selection of home style food. Along with the regular menu items there are usually 2-3 specials each evening. Their pies are excellent and tend to go quickly so if you are thinking of getting a piece, order with meal. Fried chicken is probably the best in Northern Kentucky but allow extra time as takes a... My wife and I have lunch during the week about every other week. The staff is very friendly and the food is consistently very good. Love the fact that it is locally owned and is not a franchise. Highly recommend.

Overrated. Had the chicken and it was very crispy but had no flavor. Wasn't seasoned at all. All the customers were over sixty that must be why it's rated so high. Can't recommend going there
