This restaurant has been here for years...used to go there with my Dad. If there's a good cook on duty, it's great. Other than that, you have to just live with the charm of an old little restaurant in the heart of town and take it for what it is.

Looked good on paper. Website shows a fairly decent menu that includes a limited selection of breakfasts. Worst breakfast of our vacation. Best we can say about the food is that the coffee wasn't bad. My wife thought she'd have the "Traditional french toast drizzled with raspberry sauce and creme angalise" (quote from online menu). She changed her mind when... More

We stopped here on our way back to Canada, in hopes of something that wasn't a chain. Very cute cafe, good coffee, & the waitress was super nice. But the food took FOREVER to arrive (we didn't order anything fancy), and it looked like the kitchen staff were just goofing off. When the food did arrive, the portions were super... More

My mom, toddler, and I recently went on a weekday morning for breakfast. Everything tasted very fresh & homemade. The breakfast sandwich was great, as were the French toast sticks. Our coffee drinks were excellent. I was really excited to see a Cafe au Lait on the menu. The place is tiny, but the staff & food were great. I... More

Stopped in for a late lunch while traveling across Kentucky. Ordered cheddar bacon burgers and fries. The burger had a weird (unpleasant) smell and I couldn't finish it. My coke (which arrived much later than my food) was so flat that I couldn't drink it. Didn't need all those calories anyway! Won't be back.

I visited Cobbler's cafe this past Saturday morning. I discovered this place by livingsocial.com. The place is a small long tavern. The restaurant is directly across from the court house. The seating area is small or cozy. This place is only open from 7am till 3pm. Their main focus is breakfast and lunch. My wife and I had the western... More

It's a cute little place. What we order wasn't fresh not even the bread. The desert might be Yummy ( sugar fashion cakes). The hot tea was good.

Found this quaint little place just by driving around and decided to stop for lunch. I was pleasantly surprised. I had their BBQ chicken pizza, very very thin but had a great taste. Before leaving I noticed they had cupcakes and doughnuts. Picked out some doughnuts for the following morning, holy cow. Best (only) strawberry cheesecake donut I've had in... More

The food was average. I took my family. We ordered a range of diffetent foods. The small 1800s building is inviting and comfortable. If you plan to sit down and talk with friends this is a nice place for small groups. I wouldn't recommend for a quick meal.

Best place for breakfast and the only place in E-town that I know of that makes handmade cappachino's.... and they are fabulous! The cafe is small and very homey. Love going in there with friends.
