This is a truly excellent restaurant, probably the best in Southern Nova Scotia. The Seafood Lasagne special is incredible and you won't have anything like it anywhere else. Do try some local favourites too. Rappie pie and Fricot. You don't have to like them but you should try them. Excellent Gluten free choices And leave room for Coconut Cream pie.

Go here for the food. All fresh and good portions of local fish, seafood and more. A Perfect lunch of dinner spot between Yarmouth and Digby serving local favorites at reasonable prices. It is the food and service and that govern. There is no atmosphere but so what. Just delightful

Today I went with 2 of my friends to La Cuisine Robicheau. This is an old house made into a restaurant . Staff is so friendly and it's so clean. And the food is to die for. We three had the hot lobster dinner. It was served with mash potatoes fresh peas ( so sweet) carrots and slices of tomato... More

On our return from a cruise, seated in front of us on the plane were several couples from the Saulnierville area. We asked about this restaurant as it had replaced Chez Christophe to which we had never visited. We were told it is a must. So we went. It was a cloudy day with the fog rolling up St Mary's... More

An excellent choice for local seafood prepared traditionally. La Cuisine Robicheau also features many homemade dessert options including in season pies and cheesecake. The owners are very hospitable and friendly.

I am a Digby girl who has lots of opportunities to try all the local seafood restaurants. For special occasions, Cuisine Robicheau is still our favourite place to go for delicious seafood - home cooked with fresh vegetables and potato - a nice change from all the deep fried food in other venues. Love this place! - It's a converted... More

Good restaurants are hard to find in this area, and my experience here exemplifies this. Disappointing, as the restaurant uses most of the excellent local seafood, then proceeds to hide it. The first disappointment are the tables. Nice table covers, ruined with a cover of a thick transparent polythene. Nasty. Please just charge a couple of dollars more for laundry... More

Stopped here for 'lunch. Okay a early supper. :) Homemade Acadian specialties and seafood favourites are its trademarks. Portions are very ample! 1. If you are into the unusual - try the Rappie pie. It is odd in appearance and texture but I really enjoyed it. 2. Fishcakes are a must. 3. Shrimp platter was huge! 4. The soup -... More

By chance our b&b host was able to make a reservation for us. The house was Oceanside and every room converted for dining. The staff were pleasant and quick but you felt in no way rushed. We started with the fluffiest buns made from a local bakery. They melted in your mouth. I had the house special appetizer which was... More
