Came here for dinner on a date night. I had made reservations by phone a few nights ahead. When we arrived they said they didn't have our reservations and said it would be a 40 minute wait (showing no empathy). I even showed them on my phone when I had called. We showed our disappointment and said we'd wait since we would have to wait everywhere else anyway. A few minutes later the server returned and said his manager had taken my reservation and did not write it down. He then seated us and paid for our first round of drinks....great service/marketing! The food was delicious with fun cocktails and a large whiskey list with several barrel picks. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. The tables were very well spaced to make it COVID friendly. Atmosphere was ok, nothing to write home about. I enjoyed the "Not Another Chopped Salad" with a side of delicious, uniquely cut fries. My husband ordered the Royal Fish & Chips.

My husband and I ate at Rich's last Saturday and it was such a wonderful meal. We were on a walk in our new neighborhood (Covington) and planned to order from Rich's and pick up the food after our walk but we ended up walking by the restaurant and saw their plentiful outdoor eating tables (with huge umbrellas and tons of space) and popped in to see if we could eat outside instead of doing pickup later. Bill greeted us and he was so accommodating and made us feel at home immediately. The drinks were wonderful and the music was just perfect (mellow and happy). Bill had great recommendations and he knows the menu like the back of his hand. We settled on the spicy honey chicken sandwich and fish and chips and both were to die for. The chicken sandwich might be the best I've ever had. The fries are the surprise of the century, though, because they are crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and like nothing I've ever eaten before. Bill said they were like a hybrid between steakhouse fries and curly fries and that's spot on. Best fries ever. Covington has some great food spots, but I'll be honest --- it's going to be hard to beat Rich's...I can see us both ordering from and visiting Rich's way too often! I hope we get to see Bill each time because makes Rich's such a treat. The food is ridiculously good, too!

We had planned to go to Rich's for the first time when we came up to Covington from Lexington for a concert. The plan was to have some good food and drinks and head to the show. Well, we got much more than planned. We called to inquire about reservations and they were so helpful and friendly. Just seemed that they wanted us to come in and experience the place. Once at Rich's (directly across from Hotel Covington), the bartenders, servers and manager we all awesome. We were blown away by how much love they put into their craft cocktails, and the big thing was that they came to the table quickly even being hand made. The food: Best Oysters Ever. Cooked and Raw. Get them. Get lots of them. Great sharable items. Even the french fries were cut unlike we had ever seen a potato cut before. Attention to detail and friendliness is what defines Rich's. Plus a chill/cool vibe. We even left the concert early in order to get back over to Rich's to finish off the night.

First time in Covington so we stopped in for a quick lunch and had a good time. The staff was so nice and helpful about other places to go around the area. We split the fish and chips and jambalaya and that was a plenty. The fish was one piece of fish but in some places 3 pieces of fish don’t compare to this one piece. We also had the jambalaya and of course bourbon. It was relaxing not loud at this time of day and they do have outdoor seating but it was pouring rain when we arrived.

Great spot to meet up. My hot honey chicken sandwich was amazing. The rest got jambalaya, shrimp & grits, fish & chips, and everyone was happy. Decent cocktail menu was a bonus!

Bill took great care of us and was very friendly. I had a Alaskan Sole Po Boy (special) and my wife had the burger, Everything was delicious! The atmosphere was relaxed and casual and Bill took good care of us. I look forward to my next visit!

Well looking for some good old soul food and this popped up. Food was ok not great especially for the price. Service was very good and covid plan was in affect. Really was not please overall.

Great bourbon selection and amazing cocktails. Food since the new menu has come out has been very good. Backyard Burger is my go to. I would recommend this place to any couple that would like a night out.

There for the oysters and ate too much more but all good. They had broiled oysters, raw and specials on Wed. And a burger special when I was there that Wed. Was a nice treat.

The food is AMAZING. Do yourself a favor and get the coke slaw on the side - it’s the best I’ve ever had. We all had different entrees and we each loved ours (family of 5 with 3 teens).

Stopped by when agave and ryes line was out the door. Sat at the bar. I’m telling ya just watching the bartender was totally entertaining. And the cocktails he makes are delightful. We had the chicken sliders which weren’t anything great and the jambalaya and grits which was outstanding. It was a great night and we will go back.
