You just do not want to miss this place if you're 1 or 2 hrs away from it. You won't regret going out of your way to visit here and learn the story of KFC and where it started and how. Great educational experience.

Enjoyed seeing where Kentucky Fried Chicken originates from. Cafe includes many original items from when they opened. Antiques and a history lesson. The food was great Service was friendly Really enjoyed seeing the kitchen where it all started. Definitely worth checking out

OMGoodness!! This store has the best crunchy chicken ANYWHERE! This original location is SOOOO MUCH better than the chain stores. Great artifacts that bring back fun memories are in the display cases and the restaurant itself. Such a fun place. My family wasn't happy about by driving an 1hr and 45min out of the way to eat there. But after... More

The original KFC is pretty awesome - yes, for fast-food chicken. The cool part is you can dine in part of the original building. And they did have some of the original furniture, big wood benches. I have never had any problems here, been here at least 3 times - the quality has always been the best KFC I've had,... More

This restaurant is basically the same as any other KFC, with the exception of the statue and historical items inside. Historical features are interesting. Food is okay for fast food but it is what it is...fast food.

When traveling, this is always on list of places to stop and eat. The past 2 times have been less than satisfactory. 2 months ago, employees ignored us and we finally asked to place an order. We ate there, thinking it was just a bad day for employees. Sunday afternoon, 8/7/2016, we stopped about 330p. Lady working who appeared to... More

Interesting seeing how the KFC empire started. There are a few pieces of original tools of the trade but most of what you see is reproductions. But interesting over all.

It was pretty enjoyable. This place is set up for large bus tours and on the day I was there, only a few others were there too. I was kinda disappointed that a buffet was not offered here and actually expected something extra....oh well.

Cute building with the history of KFC and how it originated. Menu was the same as any other KFC food was the same. Would have been cool if they had at least one nostalgic item or something to make this original place stand apart.

This is a good stop, not far from the interstate. There is plenty of parking. The food is just KFC, not what it used to be. But good enough.
