Another stop to take a travel break and another disappointment. The store had loads of noodles, spices, soup mixes and sweets which was interesting, our cashier was friendly well informed and helpful but the food from the deli was not good at all. The ruben was tough and stringy and the cornbread salad was beyond terrible. Another wasted stop except... More

´Tis a grand day. Old Town Amish Store is a desired stopping point. Old Town Amish Store does provide Amish style baked goods. My wife purchases a dozen Kentucky Derby Brownies, two dozen chocolate chip cookies, and three loaves of multi-grain bread. We highly recommend.

I've been here many times traveling to and from Louisville. The porch area has a large picnic table and has a water spicket for thirsty dogs. I didn't have a water bowl with me so one of the deli clerks gave me a plastic cup. She's the one who let me know where I could find the water spicket. Food... More

Old Town Amish Store was a good suggestion of the Boone Tavern Hotel. Its got a good old fashion atmosphere, the staff were friendly and helpful. The decor was country with wooden tables and chairs. I had black coffee, eggs, biscuit, potatoes.

This is a must stop/rest stop. Very cute, very quaint. The staff is friendly, and the food is fresh and delicious!! I had a smoked pork sandwich on buttermilk bread with pickles.....wow! My wife had the chicken salad which was full of flavor. Purchased a couple of small packets of spices and rubs to take home.....very cool!

In addition to being an actual retail store with a wonderful variety of Amish foodstuffs, the deli makes some terrific sandwiches and soups. Order at the counter, seating is somewhat limited. Food is outstanding!

Have breakfast here and shop while waiting for your food to be cooked. Don't miss the wonderful sour dough bread that is locally made and only $3.50 a loaf. Also pick up some cheese curds while you are there. Quaint shopping experience, good breakfast!

We've been for lunch a couple of times and enjoyed the grilled sandwiches (The Gobbler and the Veggie). I do not recommend the potato salad.

The deli is excellent - home made sandwiches & soup or salad. Made sure we stopped there for lunch each time we go south!!The Amish store was excellent also - buy things there that you don't see else where!!

We are a bulk foods grocery with an Amish meat and cheese deli. We make hot and cold sandwiches on homemade bread, served up with homemade side items and hot soups. We also have a wide selection of homemade baked treats!
