We had lunch here. We should have been tipped off that it was Friday at noon and there were about three people eating there. The menu looked okay; i ordered the Falafel and the waitress came back later and asked me to order something else, because the cook was having trouble making them. So I ordered a regular sandwich and... More

This is the first time I have ever given a terrible. But it truly was. The atmosphere is okay, the server was nice, but it went downhill from there. We were there at 11:35 on Sunday, there were a couple of tables with people besides us but as we waited and waited for our food the place started filling up.... More

The first menu selection I wanted was not available. It took forever to get our food. Once we did, our order was wrong, however the food was good. I felt sorry for them, seemed like they were really short staffed.

Stopped in for light lunch, had appetizer hummus which was great, with real oven toasted tortilla wedges. Appetizer Falafel was ok - tasty, but a smooth texture I'm not as used to. These were great options for my vegan dining companion, and it looked like a portobello sandwich and entree could have easily been adapted to vegan as well. Very... More

When we were there 4 weeks ago, we knew they were having staffing issues. It didn't stop us from enjoying the great food. We look forward to visiting again.

Was not crowded. Took them 15 minutes just to come to take the order and an hour to bring a salad and sandwich. Worst service ever, badly understaffed in kitchen and wait staff. Food was decent but will never eat there again. Avoid.

This was a recommendation from the visitors centre. The food is all locally sourced and freshly cooked. We had split pea and ham soup and fish and chips. Although the service is very slow it was worth the wait. Soup was amazing. Apparently the chef is renowned for his soup. Staff very friendly

We have ate here before no problem. Today for lunch it took them 10 min to bring our drinks after we ordered. She had to go back and get the straws, back again for tablet to take order. It took 50 min for burgers. We heard " order up" knowingness it's our food, no one else here, it took a... More

While overnight in Berea we decided to eat at the Main St. Cafe, it being around 4:30 when we arrived there was only one other person there. The waitress greeted us and was soon over to give us menus. After running from the basement for plastic ware for someone getting takeout she was back to get our drink order. Once... More

My family and I stopped in at lunch time on a Friday. They were very busy. We dined in. We ordered simple sandwiches with chips. It took a long time to get our food. After waiting about 40 minutes, our waitress offered us some soup on the house. We each ordered the chili. I don't like beans and this chili... More
