They have a picture of Hillary Clinton behind the cash register. They do not take credit cards or debit cards. For fellow travelers

The dinner belll restaurant in Sweeteater TN jiust off I 75 has one of the best buffets we have ever stopped at. The food is prepared like home and tastes fantastic. You will not be disappointed at the prices and the food. Also serves soft...serve ice cream!More

We went here to meet a friend that we had not seen in 1-1/2 years. We finished our meal and within 10 minutes the waitress said “Y’all can visit out there”. I have never been treated like this and definitely won’t be back. We drove...over an hour to eat at this restaurant and certainly didn’t expect to be booted out as soon as we took our last bite. I paid my bill then, I told her that she was rude, and that I wouldn’t be back. Her reply was “Thank god”. I DO NOT recommend this restaurant! The food was not so great that they need to treat customers like this. This was my First visit here and last visit here.More

Good food for $13.95 all you can eat. Was busy on Friday Night when we got there and had to wait. The tables turn over quickly so it was not long before we were seated. Fried chicken and catfish were very good as were all of...the vegetable choices. Decent salad bar and desserts as well. Hard to beat for the price and quality, especially if you are really hungry.More

Stopped in for an early dinner and was pleasantly surprised. We were seated immediately and welcomed. The food was served on top of an cast iron stove. Tasted like my grandmas home cooking. The fried chicken was delicious. The chicken and dumplings reminded me of...Sunday dinner at my grandparents house. The desserts are all homemade as well as the food. Bring cash, because credit cards and debits are not taken. I’ve heard that the hours they are open vary, so check before making the trip. Give this a try. You’ll love it. Thanks for taking me back to my Pennsylvania childhood.More

A friend of mine recommended this place a couple of years ago, but I haven't had the chance to check it out until now. WOW!!!! It was everything he said it would be. Great fried chicken, catfish, chicken and dumplings, served right off the top...of a cast iron stove. The hushpuppies are GREAT and we think the mashed potatoes were actually REAL mashed potatoes that didn't come out of a BOX. We were greeted immediately after coming through the door. The waitress couldn't have been nicer. Plates were cleared quickly between servings. Cherry cobbler, peach cobbler and banana pudding were all homemade and very good! Make sure you bring cash as they don't accept credit cards. The ONLY downsides are that this place is small so you may (a) have to wait a bit to be seated and (b) you may find yourself seated at a picnic table with other guests. Also they have unusual hours so check before you make the trip.More

Come hungry and leave stuffed. Awesome place to eat. Very country. Wear your casuals. The host favorite saying while customers dine is “take all you want, but eat all you take”

If I could rate this place a 10 I would. Amazing food that is seasoned like a southern granny and served up right off the stove. Cannot recommend it enough.

As always, the Dinner Bell was as good as we remembered from the last time we visited ten years ago. A charming buffet in a homey setting. If you don't leave "stuffed", it's your own fault. Everything, from the super fresh salad bar to the...amazing hot buffet to the homemade cobblers is awesome! Be sure to bring cash, however! No cards accepted.More
