I love when I find a great restaurant! My husband and I did the Willett Distillery tour at 11 and then had lunch at Kreso. We had the perfect table for 2 in front of the window looking out on Bardstown's lovely sidewalks. Our hostess...More

A great historic Boardtown restaurant. It's a bit away from downtown, so you'll probably drive here. There is parking and there is a hotel associated with the restaurant. Very good food, and service and the people are super friendly. They are famous for thier fried...More

This was our best dinner in Bardstown. Excellent food, service, location, and atmosphere. I highly recommend the Jaeger Schnitzel.

We had never been there before and stopped in for lunch. Food was ok, nothing extraordinary but the ownera were delightful. Chicken salad sandwich was on white bread and kind of skimpy, no lettuce or tomato. The homemade chips were good, soup was so so.

Stop in for a late lunch at 2 p.m. Not very many people in the restaurant, but the service was prompt and the food arrived quickly. The Schnitzel was very tender and could be eaten with a fork and no knife. That and noodles were...More

We enjoyed the chicken marsala, sea bass, schnitzel. All had good sauces. The ambience was not special and there were not many people there but good quality food.

Great place to eat. The best schnitzel I have had outside of Germany. The cordon bleu is great too. Right in the middle of downtown, easy access.

We were there on a slow evening during a cold-snap during the holidays. Service was friendly and food was good. Nice bottle of red blend wine for reasonable $35.

Wonderful story of determination, hard work, and passion! Food is authentic, fresh, and made by hand by the owner's and their family.

Fine eating at reasonable prices. Husband and wife fled Bosnia during civil war there several years ago bringing artwork and their flair with food to Bardstown with ethnic and local dining favorites. Quiet, intimate and also capable of serving large groups.
