We went to this restaurant both for good food and also because the bourbon menu is extensive. We were happy to drink Pappy Van Winkle 10 year old bourbon.

Really cool place to eat with a lot of history. A must if you come to Bardstown. However the food didn't knock my socks off. A little overpriced and just over mediocre. I had the grilled chicken salad and hotbrown. Hotbrown was pretty good but not amazing. Salad seemed a bit plain.

We really wanted to stay in this historic inn but the reviews were mixed and the booking experience was a bit confusing. Therefore we weren't totally sure we had a room for the night. I was armed with the receipt for the reservation, but it wasn't necessary We were booked into the newly refurbished rooms in the adjoining building and... More

I travel frequently for my job and know that every place cannot be on its game at all times and that the table service folks cannot be held responsible for what the kitchen produces, That being said, my brother and I planned a bourbon trail vacation for our two adult families and visited this restaurant that seemed to have very... I went here as a guest of two of my friends. They has boasted about the delicious meat loaf. I love meat loaf so I was excited to give it a try. After being seated we were told of the items that they were out of. #1 the meatloaf. We had all wanted the meatloaf. After waiting to be seated... More

We stopped for lunch and waited a pretty long time because they were short waitstaff. The food was average and some was cold when brought to us. The old Inn was interesting, but I wouldn't come here again.

When our meals were served, my wifes chicken dinner was cold. The server did not come back to our table right away, so we could not let him know this. When he did finally come back. He appologized and said he would see if he could have them comp half the price of her dinner. When he came back, he... More
