Fantastic atmosphere. Good food. Good service. You will not be disappointed with the bread pudding. Out of this world.

Not sure if we were there on an off night. Wasn't impressed by food or service. Hope things get better as they have a great building with fascinating history.

Was hyped by travel brochures, but the quality of the meal was lacking. Ribs were undercooked and chicken was overlooked. Service was very slow and they appeared to be understaffed and this was on a Sunday evening. In all fairness...we only ate there once, so maybe it was an off night.

Had to wait 30" for lunch. Old historic building. Sat in bar area. Ordered Ruben, not the best I have ever had. Cute things in gift shop. Husband had club sandwich, dry...don't need to eat there the rest of the trip.

We stopped here for lunch while on the Bourbon Trail. We ordered the beer cheese app, expecting it to be hot, but it was cold. It was good tho. Just not what we expected. I ordered a burger, which was excellent. My husband loved his country fried steak. I had a bite and it was very good. There was a... More

Stopped in on an early Friday night to get a beer and bite to eat. I had the fried banana peppers and a hamburger n fries. Banana peppers were bland and tasteless, burger was just barely edible. As far as bar food goes, try somewhere else. From my perspective, the only thing keeping this place alive is its historical significance.

We had lunch there on a Friday. We ate at the bar to avoid the wait and thoroughly enjoyed the food, the history, the tips on bourbon and nearby attractions. The potato chips were delicious, but certainly not low calorie! Definitely recommend The Old Talbots Tavern!

Our food arrived cold after a 45 min wait . We informed our waitress of the substandard food and she walked away as if she could care less. Beyond rude and unprofessional. After flagging down another waitress our party requested to speak with the manager . Not only was our food cold but inedible as well. Their definition of Burgoo... More

Fun to say that we had been to a place with such a long and colorful history. Food was good, desserts were only fair. Still a fun place to stop!

Came for dinner after a distillery tour, thad a 45 minute wait to be seated. Plenty of empty tables, however, they made everyone wait. Seemed to be only one waitress working on a Friday evening. Slow service. Ordered the catfish it was good, but not worth the 45 minute wait. Would go elseshare next time.
