We were so excited for this adventure! I can't say enough nice things about the train and the staff. Everyone was so nice and the ambiance couldn't be improved. With that said, the food was awful. First course was a crepe with whole grain mustard (really?). For the second course, I got the house salad (baby greens, mandarin oranges, dried... More

Our visit for dinner on board this train was excellent. Our waitress, Freida, was wonderful and helped us celebrate the birthday of my father-in-law in style. Already planning my next trip - there's a murder mystery dinner train!! Michelle, Winchester, KY

This was our first experience on the dinner train and we were very pleased. The train travels slowly through scenic countryside. The service is very good and the food is excellent. And there is a lot of food, as the portions are large. We had the prime rib and it was the best we have had. Friends had the salmon... More

A friend and I went and this was one of the best things I have done since being in Kentucky. Family oriented, wonderful atmosphere, and delicious food. The ride is relaxing. We had the salmon which was amazing. The apple dumpling and chocolate cake were to die for. If you are looking for a nice evening with loved ones, this... More

We did lunch on the train and it was enjoyable but since everything closes at 3 or so would suggest the dinner trip. There isn't much to see from the train but the staff is good and the food is pretty good. The 3 course meal is spread out throughout the trip. It lasts 2 1/2 hours. You can get... More

We booked this trip in advance and heard nothing but good things. Well, they are all true. The food was outstanding. I had the Prime Rib and it was cooked to perfection. The baked potato was good as were the side vegetables. One of my friends had Salmon and it was excellent as well. We all had the Pecan pie.... More

We were enamored with the idea of the train ride, with dinner being served; however, we thought it would be a marginal meal in a great location. It was a wonderful surprise to have truly outstanding food--the prime rib was succulent and cooked to perfection, as were the vegetables and baked potato. It was a great location for the bourbon...
