We have been on this dinner train once before and enjoyed it so much that we came back to go again. The scenery isn't terrific, but the food and service is excellent. We enjoy meeting new friends while on the train also. Would recommend if you enjoy trains and a good meal..

We took the lunch train because we really hoped to see some Fall Foliage. It was too early for the foliage, but we still enjoyed the beautiful scenery outside of our window. The food was amazing (we got the pot roast) and the decor of the train was really beautiful. The service was great and we were fortunate to have... More

Upon arrival we found ample parking in the lot right beside the train and station. We arrived at 5:30pm for the 6pm dinner train. Upon a quick check in at the station we then waited only a few minutes before boarding. The cars look great and are from the 1940's. All refinished with some modern appointments, but still look classic.... More

We drove from Louisiana to ride the dinner train. We opted for the lunch ride. The food was fantastic and filling. Three of us had the Kentucky Brown, a layer of bread, sliced turkey, gravy, cheese and a tomato all baked in a casserole dish. We all thought it was very tasty and satisfying. My husband had the roast beef... More

My husband surprised me with reservations on My Old Kentucky Dinner Train. The food was wonderful, service impeccable, and the ride fun, educational and scenic.

We booked the lunchtime run of the dinner train. Boarding was well organized. We sat at our assigned table with soup and salad already served at the table along with the fruit and cheese plate we had pre-ordered. We began eating as the train departed. We also ordered a bottle of wine when drink orders were taken. It was brought... More

My husband took me on the dinner train for our anniversary. The food was very good (prime rib entree) and the portions huge! (Way more than I could eat.). The service was excellent. The train ride was interesting but the scenery was not exceptional. We would have enjoyed the evening much more if the train had not been so COLD!... More

My husband and I booked the murder mystery trip. The food was very good and the service excellent but I was very disappointed in the entertainment and the train ride itself. The actors were local and ok it just didn't seem to get anyone's attention in our car anyway. It was short and while hard to act in an aisle,... More

Little pricey but food was good. Excellent staff, very informative on the sights along the route. If you are travelling with someone in wheel chair give yourself plenty of time for getting on board.

This is a really good time for family and Kids. The meals are excellent. Train ride is a little too short, but the kids love it. It is a really good time to spend with little kids. We have made this a tradition.
