Our group of 6 ladies were booked separately under a "party". One of our ladies was to be seated in a different car, when there was an open seat at one of the tables. It was quickly and easily fixed. The food was excellent as...was Debra our server. This is not a trip for anyone who suffers from motion sickness or can't tolerate riding backwards, as half of the trip is "backwards". It would have been nice to be told over an intercom when we were passing the points of interest. Also, all but one of the points of interest are on the one side of the train (right side as you enter the car).More

We've been on this train twice and both times were excellent! We had the prime rib both times! Excellent food and service! We also appreciate how they load the train with waiting in the bar and not having to wait outside.

We loved the special Valentine’s Day dinner. The food was very good as was the wine. The scenery could be cleaned up by the individual home owners but we really enjoyed the descriptions supplied through the trip.

Well worth the 9-hour drive from Florida! We had so much fun in Bardstown. The highlight of our trip was the dinner train. Relaxing train ride through the Kentucky hillside. The dinner was 5-star. The service was exceptional. We will be going back again.

After 5 years of waiting until the last minute to buy tickets and them always being sold out, we booked our excursion 3-months early this time. Trust me when I say it was worth the wait!. The food was amazing and the portion size was...huge! There are brick and mortar restaurants that can't make a prime rib as well as they did, AND it was made in a train car!! The service was impeccable. Only complaint is that there is only one bartender so recommend ordering your drinks early and often. Make sure you arrive to the station early if you want a drink before departure. We will most certainly be returning on our next visit.More

The overall experience was captivating. The food, train ride, service and atmosphere were all outstanding. The "murder mystery involvement with the passengers" added an extra layer of intrigue to the interactive experience. The only small negative was the temperature of the train where we were...sitting .. just a little too warm.More

Average food. Train ride below average. Perhaps a different time of year would be better when the foliage covers all the not so scenic views. I would not recommend to any friends.

Communication was good. Food ok. Our prime rib and pork tenderloin were over cooked. Service was great. I wish there would have been more narration about the area, history and bourbon. But overall is was a nice experience.

The overall experience was definitely one that we enjoyed. However, our food was over-cooked and a little bit pricey for the flavor/quality. I would definitely not recommend the fish. The ride itself was a lot of fun but I would suggest they give you more...history and description of the area that you’re traveling through. It would be nicer if it went through more of the country side as well. It’s not actually a “Bourbon train tour” by any means.More
