We stopped in for dinner, and were very happy we did. This is such a cozy, quaint restaurant, and the service was excellent. We started off with a drink and we're given time to sit and chat. The menu had a very nice selection. We...More

True southern food served in an elegant and historic setting. Loved hearing about the family history of the restaurant. I tried the hot brown and was not disappointed. Save room for desserts because you won’t want to miss out on some of the best pies...More

Across the street from MY OLD KENTUCKY HOME. Had lunch with friends. Service was very good and the food was even better. We had salads. One person had the roast beef sandwich. Did not hear one comment. Must try the cornbread. Soup was very tasty....More

We enjoyed the ambience of this restaurant. We were a little disappointed in the service. We had a slow server who didn't know much about the food prepared, so maybe it was her first day. Our sandwiches were nothing special, tasted like we made them...More

The fried chicken may have been just a bit overcooked but tasted great (I'd rather have it a bit too done than any not done enough). The service was very good and the coconut pie is excellent. The decor is relaxing and I particularly enjoyed...More

Very nice restaurant, just outside of town. Exceedingly friendly, and knowledgeable, professional staff. Varied menu with a Southern flair. Pan fried chicken was especially good. Deserts are house made. Stately older building, with traditional Devore. Something for everyone in your party, and you will not...More

Reservations not required, but it never hurts to call. I don't remember the hours but do remember that they are (or were) closed on Sundays and Mondays, and also from Jan 1 to Mar 1 for the cold season.
