About
The third Felipe's Restaurant was opened in November of 1991 by Felipe's brother Roberto and his wife Teresa. They decided to continue the tradition and open their own location with Felipe's blessing. Roberto and his family still run and operate the 21st & Woodlawn location.

My family has been coming here for years and we are always greeted by the same friendly faces of this family-owned business. It is definitely our go-to Mexican place even though we moved farther away, it's worth the drive. I always get their cheese & onion enchiladas - they are SO good. Their curbside service is great too!

Ordered the Felipes special, Son had pork i had chicken. It was wonderful! Chips and salsa brought to the table even before order was placed! Service was excellent, checking frequently food was out quickly. Really delicious!
The special was like the Monterey which is my favorite. I will be a more frequent visitor to the 119th and Maple location

I visited Felipe’s during my lunch break from school. I was welcomed by a very friendly staff that took care of me throughout my visit. Other than their phenomenal service, the food was amazing! I had their Yahualica and I left very satisfied! I recommend Felipes to anyone looking to bring their family or business for a fine dining with amazing service!

Restaurant is nice, but I definitely wasn’t blown away by the food. Server was nice, staff seemed friendly, but I probably won’t be returning.

I visited Felipe’s on Woodlawn on Sunday evening to get a to-go order.
The host said I could wait in the bar area to place my order. The bar staff didn’t and ‘welcomed’ me and basically I was left alone with a menu until the host returned. She took my order efficiently. I asked for extra chips and salsa to which she said I would get 8oz of mild and 8 oz of medium as a standard.
After a while, the bar staff asked if I wanted a drink and that was the extent of the interaction.
At home, the meal was disappointing.
The cheese queso was essentially Velveeta
The two 8oz of salsa were more like 8oz combined since each tub was half empty.
The quesadilla was over cooked
The fajitas were bland.
The total was around $60 and it did not feel worth it
If you are looking for good Mexican in Wichita - this is not it.

It was good the service was Really good considering these days it's hard to get good service Good Friday on the menu I recommend that anybody stop by and try it.

We sat in our car and watched people going in, the outside looks appealing, upon entering the inside was clean and orderly. We ordered a margarita we now order 1 to check out the quality instead of saying we’ll have 2 margaritas and ending up with 2 bad margaritas! Well sure glad we ordered 1, it was so sour we had to order a shot of tequila to doctor it up. The food is absolutely terrible, I actually suspect they didn’t have a proper chef. The tamales weren’t handcrafted I ordered a chicken enchilada dish with a tomato sauce that was soured. I sent it back , you have to understand I absolutely have never ever done that . I the ordered a fiesta salad, 20 minutes later I got the salad , their homemade ranch salsa dressing was also soured. So we basically had no dinner. Even the rice and beans were not better that old el pasi in a can which is better. And all the food was not hot, usually when you get your food they warn you the plate is hot, not here!!! Never again

Ate here with friends the other night and the food was great!!! Had the Mexican Combo and it was super. The chips were very good, used to be thinner and I like the thinner ones better however these very very good and the sopapis were great.

From the warm chips and salsa to the enchiladas and burritos, this meal was excellent..great taste and presentation, good service and great presentation. My favorite Mexican restaurant in Wichita!

This is my go to restaurant. Simply my favorite place in town. Have never been disappointed in the food or the service. It doesn't hurt that we are treated like family when we are here. This visit was with only one other and was great.

We always stop here for lunch when we’re in town. We’ve never had anything we didn’t like. The Choriqueso is awesome! The have a good selection of tequila and their house blanco is well worth sipping after the meal.

Our comfort food place! We are treated as family every time. The menu has lots of delicious options but ask for the secret menu! First question is what are you hungry for - then suggestions are offered! Family recipes are the best! Do start with the quacamole and chips. Queso is also great. A Diamond margarita is the best choice - spoiled me for any other margarita! If you get a chance to attend the annual tequila night it is well worth the evening!

Got right in without any wait. Food was fresh and hot. Portions were more than plentiful. Service was on track. Definitely a good place to take family or meet friends.
