Stopped here on a Sunday morning. Got in just before the real rush hit. I can see why. Super breakfast place. We shared an omelette chock full of meats and cheese. Potatoes for side bowl of gravy and just the greatest whole wheat toast. Nice...friendly server. Quick service on the food. Will definitely be going back here. Old lime diner type place simply great in all ways.More

Good spot for breakfast but parking is a big challenge and they pack them in (during a pandemic) so hardly any social distances Good portions sizes

Food is totally amazing and is my #1 breakfast/brunch spot! Even time i go i try to get something different but i always find myself going back to the same 2 options. Either the bacon and cheese omelette for breakfast, of the club sandwich for...lunch!More

We missed them. But well worth the wait. Always a favorite Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner. Same great staff and service. The new floors look great. The food is fresh as ever.

This was our third breakfast in Wichita, and it is our best so far. I had their Daily Special Philly Cheesesteak Omelette, and my wife had their scrambled eggs with hm and cheese. Both dishes were very good. I particularly liked the Philly Cheesesteak Omelette....Our waitress was quite friendly and attentive. There was a wait for tables most of the morning we were there, and I can see why!More

My daughter brought us here as it's her favorite, even though I had not heard of it. The service was fast and fun, the food was OMG great! Value for the money was EXCELLENT. Only opens for breakfast (served any time) and lunch. Closes at...2pm. Even though this is a bit far of a drive for me, we will be back. Great decor!More

This restaurant is still using a very outdated menu that has items on it that haven't been available for years! The food is average at best and the help needs to be friendlier. Also, on Veterans Day, they don't offer anything to the Veterans, not...even free coffee.More

Lighthouses! Lighthouses, everywhere! Awesome decor from the photographs, drawings and table tops to the ceramics, wood, models, you name it, these folks know their Beacons. The service is fast and friendly. The coffee was very good, the food is delicious with fair size (not grossly...over sized) portions and the prices are great! This place is bigger on the inside than it looks from the outside. Parking is darn near impossible next to the diner though; A VERY, VERY tight fit and one way only,if you can, squeeze your car/van past the dumpster. Forget about anything larger...Just park across the street at the two hour parking.More

If you want to sit down to an old fashioned country breakfast you won't go wrong eating at the Beacon. My wife had pancakes, eggs and sausage and it was very good. I went with the recommendation of our waitress and had a dish of...biscuits, eggs and sausage all covered with gravy. It was excellent. The staff was very friendly and the service was great. We highly recommend the Beacon Restaurant.More

We eat at The Beacon at least once a week. The portions are huge, food is great and the waitresses are usually very attentive. Parking is a big drawback...NOT ENOUGH SPACES. Booth seats need to be re-upholstered BADLY. Place is clean. Good value.
