Met extended family here for a celebratory lunch. The atmosphere was simple - not much more than tables & chairs (no decor) and the food was acceptable but the service was bad. After asking for a beer four times, my husband finally got up and got it himself (after a 30 minute wait.) The waiter took orders for half the party, disappeared for 15 minutes then took orders for the other half (right as the first group were getting their entrees.) There are multiple Mexican restaurants in the area - I won't be returning to this one strictly due to the horrendous service.

For quick seating and fast service for a sit down restaurant, this is a great place for basic Mexican cuisine.

My family loves going to Jalapenos for dinner. It is a fun and relaxing place to eat and wind down. They have the best chips and salsa which is the only reason we don't go there very often...we eat too many chips and salsa! The staff is always friendly and welcoming. Great place to take a family, big or small, for a good meal.

We stopped after church for a quick bite. We each tried something we had not had before. My wife had the pollo Hawaiian while I had the fajita taco salad. My wife throughly enjoyed her shrimp, grilled chicken and pineapple - all having very good flavor. I was a little disappointed when they put my fajita taco salad in front of me as it was smaller than a normal taco salad. BUT it had lots of grilled chicken with all the fajitas toppings mixed in with a very flavorable sauce. It was very, very good.

A late lunch, server not very pleasant. Salsa very plain & runny, looking like tomato juice. Husband had nachos & that only had meat cheese & chips. I myself had a tostada which tasted weird. Never saw sight if the server for a refill of tea. Finally got the bill, left & not 20 minutes later was I’ll, that was the both of us. Others had told us it was good so we decided to try it out. Never again!

This is a great little restaurant. Their food is delicious, fast and affordable. The service is always welcoming and friendly. If you like your salsa spicy, ask for the "special hot sauce" from the back. They will be happy to bring some out.

We had been told this was a good restaurant, so we thought we would try it. Our friends were wrong, it was a great restaurant. The food was excellent, the price was very reasonable, and the service was quick and good. We both had chicken fajitas. They were good enough we went back the following Sunday and had them again!

Tacos for $1 Tuesdays and Thursdays and margaritas for $1.35! They are good too! Other entrees are also good. Eat here often.

I am so glad I found jalapenos a ccouple years back. I was so proud for them when I went there aug 30, 2016. They painted the inside and out. There food was wonderful as always, great service. If you like mexicain food and a family atmosphere this is the best place in town. good value for your dollar with generous portions and all the chips an salsa you want. 5 star

The food is always very good and the servers are excellent. The food is delivered hot and very promptly once prepared. Chips and salsa are great and the margarita is excellent. My only recommendations would be that they should not use the strong scented spray cleaner on the tables as it does smell overwhelmingly like a bathroom. Very unpleasant. Something lemon scented, not so strong would do the job. The cleaner should not be stronger smelling than the food! Next, always itemize the bill for the customer.

We enjoyed our dinner at Jalapeno's Mexican Restaurant a lot. They serve authentic Mexican food at good prices. Staff was attentive. Chips, salsa, and cheese dip keep you company while you wait for your food. My Dad's t-bone was a bit tough, although my husband's was cooked perfectly. That's the only reason for the 4-star rating. We enjoy home-cooked Mexican food, and look for out of the way places (and avoid the chains at all cost). Jalapeno's didn't disappoint us!

No waiting to be seated. We received complimentary chips, salsa and cheese dip. Portions were good sized. Staff was very friendly. It is not your typical, only your server assists you. All the servers were attentive to our needs.

This restaurant served pretty decent food when it first opened. After a few years, it has lost its' good servers who could speak and understand English well. The dumpster in the front corner of the lot doesn't help keep the flies away. Also, downstairs dining is the pits.
