Great food and service at Ad Astra. Definitely will be back next time in the area. Be sure and make reservations before you go, we didn't but luckily found a corner to sit and have supper.

A group of us had dinner there on 1/21. We arrived at approximately 5:15 PM without a reservation (6 of us). The hostess very honestly told us that there were booked up.....but if we could eat in less than 1 1/2 hours she could accommodate us. The building is right out of the turn of the century complete with a... More

Surprised and excited to stumble into Ad Astra. Great beer selection, Ribs were over salted, but the homemade chips were stellar! Topped it off with a creamy, delectable butterscotch pie.

I loved Ad Astra! The place is super fun and very tastefully decorated. It's so nice to find a place like this in a small town. (Being from a small town myself, I would love if we had a place like this). We started with the Ad Astra chips - they were soooo good! I had the smoked chicken wrap... More

We stopped for lunch and found a good crowd of people there. I ordered the roast beef wrap with caramelized onions, arugula, and horseradish sauce. It was delicious. I chose the housemade garlic slaw for my side and it was wonderful! Looking over the menu it appeared that most items are from scratch. This is a great choice if you're... More

Open Fri, Sat and Sun only. We had an excellent dinner on Sunday and were pleasantly surprised with the interior as the exterior did not reflect the quality of our meal and service!

Ad Astra is such a great place to eat! It has a varied menu that both fits with the Flint Hills and also does its own thing. Their desserts are also homemade. The service is wonderful and the decor is well suited to the area. They have art work from local artists on the walls and a nice big wooden... More

This is a great stop in the heartland of America and a real gem-- especially given the size of the town. The cocktails are top rate as well as the beer selections. The prairie burner burger is fantastic as are all the steaks and chops.

If you come hungry, you won't leave hungry. My wife hates brussels sprouts, but she tried the fried ones and she loved em.
