So good and worth the price bc the quality is superb! Get the slammer dog it's a loaded sausage on a bun with delicious secret sauce. Their baked beans are one of a kind homemade. You can buy them by the gallon if you are having a BBQ bring them as a side and be ready for ppl to ask... More

The long drive through Kansas. 🚗🚗🚗🚗🚗 Always challenging to eat anything non chain, even more with a pet in the car who can't be left alone. So counter service barbecue with a shady park behind it and a bench in front, not bad. Had pork barbecue, decent, little fatty. Baked beans great! Sausage and bacon in the beans (sorry, vegetarians)hot,... More

Just passing through while on a trip, happened to see their sign & stopped. So glad we did! Very helpful staff. We split a rib plate with baked beans and sweet potato fries (waffle cut, came with a dipping sauce - honey mustard? with a flavor I can't quite identify, but it was good). Ribs were tender with a somewhat... More

We had a chicken plate, a ribs plate and a burnt ends sandwich. Overall the food was tasty. Everything was a little sweet (but, we prefer spicier bbq). "Burnt ends" is now my favorite type of bbq. The service was friendly and quick!

Yummy BBQ! Smoked Brisket was pulled as well as pork. Chicken was moist. Coleslaw tasted homemade and beans were sweet. Fast & friendly service . Top it off with dill pickle. Where the locals eat!!

We only stopped there once, while in town for a concert. I wish we had a second chance to try some of the other meats. Had the burnt ends basket and I would rank the burnt ends no better than average. The meat came covered in sauce that overwhelmed the flavor of the smoked meat. Fries were good and service... More

Mediocre at best. Was in the area looking for bbq. All the reviews said to eat here. The brisket, burnt ends were all too sweet.

Highly rated by AAA (and Trip Advisor) and in this case its worth the hype. Absolutely no frills but very warm and kindly staff--Kansas nice. We've eaten ribs all over but never better than these. Couple of miles off I-70 but you won't regret the detour.
