I found this on Trip Advisor and read the reviews. Pretty much everyone said that this was a great place to eat so we decided to give it a try. It is truly wonderful! Probably the best pork ribs I have ever had. The wall is plastered with awards for barbecuing. It's no wonder!!!

We're from Georgia where we know a few things about BBQ, but I've just ate the best BBQ I've ever had in Salina, KS. It was so good, we went back for dinner the same day. Can't wait to get back to Salina again.

Eating dinner at Hickory Hut Barbeque right now. After reading reviews, decided to try here. Delicious! Having pork sandwich and fries. BBQ pork melts in your mouth. Fries look hand cut and fried to perfection. Service quick and friendly. Lots of locals eating here. We will be back on return trip from Denver to Illinois.

The wife and I have been talking about giving up most meats to live a healthier life. Stopped here on the way back home from a family visit in Illinois. I will give up the extra 6 months or years of life I would've gained if I could eat BBQ like this every day! EVERYTHING was great. I had ribs... More

Spent one night in Salina while traveling through. This restaurant is easy access from 135. One of the best BBQ I've had. Be sure and try the chicken.

On our way home from Colorado, the four of us decided barbecue for lunch sounded good. This place may be a few minutes from I-70, but it's easy to find. You just walk up to the counter and order your food, which comes out in mere minutes. It's very good. I ordered the burnt end basket with potato wedges. My... More

My wife, two teens and stopped by for a BBQ fix before leaving KS. Collectively we had ribs, pulled pork, brisket and several sides. It was all good. Didn't get a chance to try the burnt ends, but supposedly they sell out of them on a regular basis. Worth the stop and the money!

We stopped for lunch on the way back from vacation and was pleasantly surprised with this discovery! The employees were friendly with historical pictures decorating the establishment. I would definitely recommend this place for yummy barbecue!

Local BBQ started here in the shed adjacent to the parking lot and sold out of a wagon until purchasing this building for Serious Barbecue. These will be the best BBQ beans you'll ever eat spiced with so much meat they are almost a stew. Hard choices among the ribs, pulled pork and sausage. You can't go wrong. Not a... More
