Being from Texas, we are steak snobs! But we had heard that the beef in Kansas measured up and boy, did it! My husband and I split the big ribeye and while it did not come out medium rare as ordered, they gave us a new steak cooked to perfection. We had the baked sweet potato and salad with it.... More

Dinner with my wife and nephew and niece-to-be. We were visiting them in McPherson, but liked the greater options for dining in Salina. They suggested a steakhouse and we were game. I was expecting an Outback-type place and while the decor and feeling was similar, the food was better. The steaks - one rib eye and one bacon wrapped sirloin... More

The meal was great. I had the KC Strip and my wife had the glazed chicken breast. The service was not quite up to par, it was still ok, just not like it had been in the past. The food more than made up for it.

We stopped in not knowing anything about the place. We received excellent service and food. We were really impressed and would recommend it to anyone. We will definitely return on our next visit to Salina.

First went to Tuscon's in 2000. Went a couple times a year enroute to Denver, then a long hiatus. Back for the first time in ten years. What's the same? Still excellent steaks, excellent service, great ambiance. Across the parking lot from a hotel we like. Good beer, decent bar selections. What's different? New owners, not locally owned. They abandoned... More

What a great place: steaks and vegetables cooked to perfection. We had several local residents recommend this restaurant to us and I see why! It was a 5 mile drive from our hotel (Salina is a long tiwn geographically) and worth the drive.

Took the lovely spouse and stepmom to dinner at Tucson's following a movie at the incredible Salina Art Center. Time was about 4:30 in the afternoon when old people eat dinner. The place has a definite 1970's feel and is in desperate need of cleaning and updating. Wait staff was friendly and helpful. No problem there. The bread brought to... More

The steak was excellent. The service was also very good. The decor is basic but that is not the purpose of this establishment.

First time visit. We went on a Friday night about 7:00. Very slow service, wait staff somewhat friendly. Ordered the onion appetizer and it was okay. Ordered the Citrus Lime Chicken and it was gross. I should've ordered steak but it seemed over priced. Although my husband had chopped steak and it was dry and overcooked. Anyway, I'm not a... More
