This is a good family restaurant not far from I-70. The country fried steak was recommended by our hotel, so I had the sandwich version, which was plenty of food, and it comes on a nice toasted bun with lettuce and tomato on the side and your choice of a side dish. I had the whipped potatoes with cream gravy,... More

The clerk at the hotel we were staying told us about this restaurant. We stopped in for some pie. The restaurant looked just as I picture a midwest diner. With a counter and booths and tables. The peach pie was delicious. I will stop for a meal next time I drive thru.

Chicken fried steak was really good! Pancakes, hash browns and bacon yummy! Service was very friendly and we got two pies ( that looked amazing) to go! If you are only going to eat one meal a day this is your place! The portions are huge!! Nothing low cal here, but we don't eat like this everyday!

This restaurant is known for good good and homemade pies. The breakfasts are served at all hours and are huge, good eating. Thursday's are "all you can eat" fried chicken and it is delicious. The owner is always friendly and jokes with all his customers. A delicious respite for travelers or locals.

Certainly not a place to get a healthy breakfast. In fact I think of you tried to order low fat yogurt and granola you might be taken out the back and shot !!. What they do serve they do very well. The omelet and hash browns I had was delicious and enough to feed a family of 4. Coffee was... More

The food was old fashioned, homemade tasty meals and pies. They were served hot and fast by very friendly staff. Great stuff, don't miss it!
