I had to go to Chicken Annie's for my Grandfathers Birthday, They had never really been to Chicken Mary's, I was shocked. They had no food that I could even stand. The spaghetti was sweet, SWEET, who eat's sweet spaghetti. I can't even express how much I dislike this restaurant.

I'm not a huge chicken fan, but they had some of the best chicken I've ever eaten. The staff was great there also. Price wasn't bad.

Chicken Annie's is next door to its family member, Chicken Mary's. It is a great atmosphere to enjoy a great meal with family and friends. It is north of Pittsburg, KS in the wooded area of the old strip mines from the past of the areas history.

A few miles off the beaten path of 69 highway, in the middle of Nowhere proper, you'll find the fried chicken vortex of Crawford County. Under nostalgic signs and providing big portions and bigger parking lots, there are two very different restaurants that are exactly the same. You have to embrace the concept of classic fried chicken to truly appreciate... More

First time ever going to. A little out of the way. But we'll worth it. Food is top notch. But only if you like chicken. The Wife and I had chicken fried steak. With corn and mashed taters and gravy. And a side salad. With an order of chicken livers. The in-laws had 3 pice chicken dinner with corn and... More

Chicken Annie's Original used to be a favorite. More often, anymore, we go to Chicken Annie's Girard but decided to try Original again and it will probably be the last time :( The onion rings were old and stale, sides were bland. The chicken was good but pieces were small. Girard will be our go-to from now on.

Been coming for years when I lived here but came to Kansas this past weekend for the first time in 5 years and of course had to come. They couldn't get the order right with the livers and gizzards then the onion rings were so salty even my aunt that always adds salt to hers could eat them due to... More

Retro style atmosphere. Walking in felt like I was in the 1970s. Service was a miss. Newer waitress who definitely needs more experience. The food itself is good. I recommend the baked beans as a side with your meal. The chicken pieces were smaller. A normal person could easily eat 3 pieces.

We decided to make a detour to the famous Chicken Annie's on our way out of town. It is in a remote area and the only other place close is the rival Chicken Mary's. We were seated fairly quickly and brought bread and drinks. The water is awful so order an actual drink if you sensitive to that. We picked... More

One of our favorite Sunday dinner spots. Grab a bourbon along side your chicken breast. Add some delicious sides to top it off. Friendly and cozy. Love this place. Staff is always great!
