My wife and I both had the flank steak pho and it was very good! This location had convenient parking and the service was really good!

Standard Vietnam fare. Nothing wildly exciting, but the food is good and dependable. My wife had basic Pho today and I had the Bun Tom Nuong (rice vermicelli with grilled shrimp and fried egg roles. Everything with tax and tip was $24. Can't beat that.

Second visit here. Took my wife for lunch on a cold, December day. I got the Pho Chicken noodle soup and two egg roles. Wife had the Pho Beef flank with two egg roles.
Food was very good, service was good. Price was $32! For lunch?!? That seems high for chicken noodle soup and egg rolls. Again, good food, but not $32 good, especially for a lunch. I would recommend trying it, but after two visits I'm not sure I would go back.

I have been to a lot of pho places but this is the best … hands down!!!!! Their broth is always so rich and dark! We brought a family member there from Florida and he says he longs to come visit again so he can have more pho from this place.

Got the vermicelli/bun. Deep fried tofu with beanie encrusted topping.
Great noodles. Very tasty.
Sweet and sour and a little hot at times.
Yum.

If you like the Vietnamese noodle soup, pho, you must visit here. If you've never had it, this is the place to try it.
The beef broth base is wonderful, and the basil is fresh.
Nice location at 133rd and Antioch.
The Vietnamese owner is affable and attentive. The young waitress defines the word "insouciance", which was puzzling at first but fun if you play along.
Get P1, the basic pho, for a first test. There is a mild spice upgrade that I've gotten fond of. Happy slurping!

This restaurant is in my rotation of Asian food places. My mom came to visit over the holidays and she was so impressed with her meal we ended up going 3 times in her 5 day visit! The employees are very friendly and our food always came out promptly. The BBQ sliced pork is so delicious. Can't wait to go back!

Food was good, nothing special, standard Pho and rice dishes. Reasonable prices. Wait staff a little slow. I would return for a basic evening out when I didn't feel like cooking.

The restaurant is new and the décor is nice . But the service and food is average . I eat Vietnamese once a week and this place is par to subpar . Do yourself a favor and try some of the other places in Overland park . The food has no flavor and the service is subpar . Its a shame its a nice area .

I don't know about the food. Since I didn't have a chance to taste any. However, customer service is one of the most horrible I have ever encountered. Long story short. My elderly parents and I went to have lunch at this place. I ordered an appetizer to share and 3 orders of pho noodles. The appetizer came in about 15 minutes, and first plate of noodles in another 5 minutes. We were done with our water by then, and I, being a polite person, waited for my parents to get their plates so we all could eat. I didn't touch my pho, so it went completely cold. I witnessed people being served who came in a lot later. We were just forgotten. 40 minutes later I just had enough. We left our table and I approached the guy upfront (by the way, our waitress had never checked in even once to see if we needed anything. Refill on water, perhaps). I POLITELY asked the hostess guy, if we I could pay for the appetizer and said that it had been over 40 minutes and we no longer wish to wait for our food. He started screaming at me that I could not do that I needed to pay for the whole order. Again, POLITELY, I told him that I refuse to pay for the food that I wasn't served. All over sudden, our waitress appeared and started apologizing. She realized that she completely forgot about our table. The hostess guy, just told her to be quite and go back to check on other tables. Then he told me that if I wanted to leave, I need to pay the whole bill. I just had about enough of this and I gave him $20 for $7 appetizer and we left. While we were leaving, he screamed: "Don't you ever come to this place again!!!" We were completely shocked!!! I told him, I surely won't and I will spread the word about the horrible place.

We saw this place and decided to give it a try. Any time we see a Vietnamese restaurant we always give it a try.
Decor is nice because newer but nothing special. For appetizer we had egg rolls an crab Rangoon. Bad choice on both. Crab ragoon is crab ragoon, but the egg roll was gross.
Also ordered pho tai, bun bo hue, and bahn mi the pork sandwich.
Pho was not good. No flavor or else really watered down. Bun bo was bad too. No flavor. Sandwich was horrible. Bread was not French Vietnamese bread but probably bread from a Grocery store. And meat tasted and felt like it's been sitting out for a week. Dried out like a jerky texture.
Probably close to the bottom for Vietnamese food. And price is a little higher then most Vietnamese places. I'd go somewhere else for better quality food.

I went to this restaurant for Lunch as a family of 4, 2 kids, wife. Ordered 2 Pho Ga, Fried Chicken and Fried Rice. The restaurant only gave us one sprouts and mint leaves (the couple on next table had 2 people one of them with the pho and had one of the same quantity as for the 2 of us ). The Sriracha sauce on the table was certainly duplicate (probably some home made concoction, topped off in the bottle), the Pho was not made in broth / stock and was watery / tasteless. At over $40 for the 4 dishes I wondered why I ventured into this lousy place ? When next door me and my family could have enjoyed an Indian Buffet for the same price to our hearts content. I am ready to wager $5 that this place will not stay in business very long.. :) I was really hoping for an excellent Vietnamese place nearer to my home, may not be as good but at least half as good as the Vietnam Cafe in KCMO.

I live in California and eat Pho all the time, I have eaten Pho all over the United States from California to New York.I was not impressed by the pho or any of the other food we ordered or the service especially. There was no rhyme or reason to how the table was set up, from drinks to condiments,we had to ask for everything we needed including the condiments that come with the pho,One person ordered Korean beef and it was extremely overcooked and dry. We ordered a side dish of broccoli but it was frozen broccoli that had been stirfried to heat it with seasonings.I was not impressed, and felt the staff was quite disorganized they repeatedly tried to give us a dish of tofu but it was not ours and they insisted we had ordered it.

I came back to this restaurant as a follow up to my last visit. After receiving my credit card statement, I discovered that an additional tip was added to my bill. I went back to the restaurant to resolve the issue. I spoke with three different people. The first lady claimed to not understand English. I was then met by a young man who told me the owner was the only person that could help me and that he had left for the day. When I asked for the contact information, a third lady approached me and asked to see my card statement and receipt. Once i showed her the paper work, she tried to take it from me. I actually had to pull it out of her hands. I then told her I was going to go to my bank and report the amount charged as fraud. That is when she told me to have a seat and the owner would be back in ten minutes. After waiting, a gentleman came from the kitchen and asked if he could see my original receipt. He took a copy and said he would have to find their copy and compare the two. He said his copy was not on the premises and asked for my phone number. After giving him my phone number, I asked that he provide me a copy of his receipt once he had it. At that point, he offered to refund the discrepancy in cash. Though I appreciate that the issue was resolved I would not go back to this place. The food was not very good and the staff questionable.
