I cannot say enough great things about my meal at Sichuan Dynasty. Lots of flavors and spices with each plate. We decided to order completely new plates (except for the Rangoon’s) just to try to new food…we were not disappointed! Grab some lunch or dinner...at Sichuan Dynasty if you are in the area!More
really the best food ever.....order off the chinese menu....suggestion: boiled fish in hot sauce....and don't forget the dan dan noodles. hot and wonderful. you gotta try it!
Good luck if you go to the restaurant on holidays... 1. We went there on Xmas day for dinner. Arrived 7:30pm, 1 1/2 hour before their close time 9pm. The staff turned us down because they are too busy. 2. Reservation is cancelled without notification:...We made reservation for Chinese New Year day at 5:30pm with a confirmation that we need the only one round table. Reach there at 5:25pm. The staff told us one other group came at 4:30pm and they got the table. Because of this other group, the staff made a big X on our reservation and made us take another small rectangular table without further help (Take it or leave) or even apology. This restaurant just lost our business from now on.More
This place has GOOD food. It’s real, it’s made well, and there are great options for everyone. If you like meat, vegetables, noodles, whatever it is... they have got an option. Sichuan style dishes and traditional favorites. Peking style pork is a must try. And...the team there is super friendly!!More
The food is exceptional. The wait staff very attentive. We had General Tsos and the crispy eggplant in garlic sauce, plus a couple of appetizers. The eggplant was the best I've ever had. Highly recommend to anyone who want great Szechuan food. My lips are...burning in a good way!More

We enjoy the food from Sichuan Dynasty. They offer some fun, and tasty Asian dishes and the staff is polite. The takeout service has proven to be less than desirable over the past few experiences. They usually tell us it will be "about" 20 minutes...after making a phone order, but we have learned to always allow another 10-15 additional minutes. Unfortunately, we have often found that we still have to wait after we arrive. This is usually due to the fact the order is still not ready, or there is an item missing causing us to wait while it is prepared and resulting in the rest of the prepared order getting cold while we wait for the order to be corrected. We find this consistent issue to be very unsatisfactory and have decided we may have to use another restaurant for our takeout orders. Too bad because we really like the food at Sichuan Dynasty.More
The staff here is so lovely and helpful. We decided to order the fish in spicy szechuan broth, Mopao and snow Pea plant tips.. Ommmg it was all soooo good!!!
Was in Kansas City for a week and tried Szechuan Dynasty. Being a big spicy food fan, I eat at Szechuan restaurants whenever I travel to big cities (typical small towns don't have them). I have to say this one is the best I have...tried (better than the one in Chicago, in Houston, in San Diego, in St Louis, in Phoenix and even better than Taste of Chengdu in Los Angeles). Why? They offer you uncompromised authentic Szechuan food. They don't enhance flavor by adding tons of MSG or salt, which makes the food much healthier. They update their menu by following the food scene in Sichuan. Last day I was there, the owner introduced us a new dish, Bobo Chicken, which is a new menu item. Plus the owner is a Sichuan native. Now I just wish Kansas City were closer to where I live.More
Have eaten here several times and food is excellent! Service is good except at busy times (generally Fri/Sat nights) when it can be both slow and inaccurate. Avoid those times and enjoy!
My wife and I visited the restaurant and I decided to try something new. I ordered the cumin lamb and I was intoxicated with the taste of this dish. It was so good. I have been here a couple of times previously and we always...have the garlic encrusted calamari which is a favorite but I like to explore and based on this I will be back for more culinary adventures to delight the palate, tantalize the taste buds and provide a glorious dining experience. If you enjoy Chinese food, stop by, I believe you will be pleased.More
So glad they moved into the neighborhood. The Fresh pepper chicken or beef are both great, and the Braised Beef Noodle soup is excellent. Dine in is better than carry out, as it is with most other restaurants.
This place is well suited for large groups as well as individuals, couples, and so on. My favorite thing to do here is going in a large group and eat family style. Warning, spicy means spice.
I have traveled all over the US/CAN (NYC, SF, LA, SEA, LV, CHI, Vancouver) and tried several Sichuan food restaurants in each. IMHO... this place serves the best Sichuan food bar none. The owner is from Fengdu, one chef from Chongqing, and the other from...Chengdu. My wife is also from Fengdu and agrees... the best. So flavorful, so ridiculously spicy. Yummmmm!More
Food is fairly good for American-Chinese take-out. The staff is courteous and the menu has plenty of variety. I find it is a bit pricey.
