My boyfriend and I go to Jumpin' Catfish at least once a month so I have tried several things on the menu. My favorites are the country fried steak, the duck, and the cajun flavored catfish. The frog legs and tilapia are also good. As a bonus, this restaurant serves free pre- appetizers. The hush puppies are absolutely delicious! The... More

The food here is good enough to drive across town for! They serve beans, Cole slaw and hush puppies family style. They are so good. My hubby loves their catfish. It's coated in corn meal and fried like mom used to make it. I'm a chicken strip fan. It's lightly coated and fried crisp. The service is always good. We... More

The food is delicious and plentiful! They bring white northern beans, cole slaw and hush puppies to the table when you arrive. I can never finish everything.

I met a group of friends for dinner to enjoy the all you can eat night. The crab was a little waterlogged, but had good flavor. Their hush puppies are fantastic and the long island tea was tasty!

We went there Saturday night with our son and it was delicious as usual. We have been going there for 26 years and are never disappointed. My hubby and son had the catfish, but I had my usual frog legs and mashed potatoes and gravy. We will go again this week again as usual.

I eat here with my wife about 3 times a year. This is the Olathe location. We are never disappointed. The service is always attentive and out to please and today was no exception. I usually get the 3 piece cat dinner with wedges. We leave with a full load of beans, slaw (the only place that does slaw right... More

Good quality fish and fun old-fashioned fried seafood. There is evidence of manhood/pioneering spirit. throughout the restaurant. Great cold slaw and hushpuppies. David is conversational and just a little crazy...giving the mealtime a down-home flare. Great place... I hear it's for sale.

Jumpin Catfish is a great restaurant located in Olathe, Kansas. I stopped here on a Sunday, and they have all you can eat for most items on their menu including food items like shrimp, catfish, Crawdad tails, quail, etc.. Every table seemed to get a side of hush puppies, beans, and coleslaw. The food arrived quickly and was plentiful! The... More

Description
Our farm-raised, grain-fed catfish is far superior to his muddy river cousin. Scientifically-bred and carefully tended, he has all but acquired a pedigree now that Gourmet magazine rates him the third-best-selling fish in America.Higher in protein than most meats, our freshwater catfish is becoming exceedingly popular among health-conscious American diners-and with good reason. Not only is our catfish low in cholesterol, fat and calories, he also rates high in aesthetic appeal since he has no fishy smell. It is also nutritious, healthy and downright delicious. Now, will we see you at the Annual World Catfish Festival in Mississippi next year? Or at least back at the Jumpin' Catfish next week! We will also cater for 40-500 people just about anywhere!! We come to you and cook in our catering wagon so all the food is cooked and hot on the spot!
