My wife and I have been frequent patrons of this casual but fantastic eatery for over 27 years. As a matter of fact, owner Dave Hampton catered out wedding back in 91. Much more than fresh catfish, from exotic foods to traditional, Dave offers over 27 items to pick from. My wife's favorite is the boiled all you can eat... More

Excellent crab, good size legs and they just keep bringing them on! Caution, don't fill up on the hushpuppies, beans and coleslaw (which are all great).

I really enjoy the decor of this place. It has a relaxing atmosphere. This restaurant is very good and the menu has various types of wild game. Its side dishes are served as family style. Always enough to eat.

We went to this restaurant last night. I ordered the chicken dinner. We had a long wait and at least 4 other tables came in after us and they all got their order while we were still waiting (30+minutes). I asked the waiter if they forgot our order. When we finally got the meal I cut into my chicken and... More

Great food, great service, unique atmosphere. All you can eat crab legs on Thursday nights are excellent. Hushpuppies truly remind me of down home cooking. Coleslaw, hushpuppies and beans and ham included in meal price. Very attentive waitstaff.

The food was OK, the service was good. Lots of food for the money. Enjoyed the slaw and beans that came out first. The building is clean but aged.

My husband and I dine here quite often. We both love seafood and this is much better than the madness at the casinos. Crab legs are my favorite and on Thursdays and Sundays they offer all you can eat. It's not fancy but it's reasonably priced and overall a nice place to dine.

My boyfriend and I go to Jumpin' Catfish at least once a month so I have tried several things on the menu. My favorites are the country fried steak, the duck, and the cajun flavored catfish. The frog legs and tilapia are also good. As a bonus, this restaurant serves free pre- appetizers. The hush puppies are absolutely delicious! The... More

Description
Our farm-raised, grain-fed catfish is far superior to his muddy river cousin. Scientifically-bred and carefully tended, he has all but acquired a pedigree now that Gourmet magazine rates him the third-best-selling fish in America.Higher in protein than most meats, our freshwater catfish is becoming exceedingly popular among health-conscious American diners-and with good reason. Not only is our catfish low in cholesterol, fat and calories, he also rates high in aesthetic appeal since he has no fishy smell. It is also nutritious, healthy and downright delicious. Now, will we see you at the Annual World Catfish Festival in Mississippi next year? Or at least back at the Jumpin' Catfish next week! We will also cater for 40-500 people just about anywhere!! We come to you and cook in our catering wagon so all the food is cooked and hot on the spot!
